The male spirit has an animal form in it, that needs to be tamed. The best way to tame it is to unleash it amongst other lion energy. That way it will calm the spirit leading to harmony and peace amongst the communities it resides. Ke Mosotho waMatatiele, ngizalwa uMaCebisa eNquthu. Long live to ourselves, our blood lines our Africanness. Camagu
@@bokangmokoena3370 I gave you references go check them and come back to me ,check history of Bapedi on Wikipedia and history of Basotho in Wikipedia am not the only who says this ,ask around as well they will tell you the same thing ,wena you say am lying but if I can ask you history of Bapedi and Basotho about their origin you won't tell because because their history is traced back to Batswana so basically they don't have history
First Zulu dude is an ANIMAL, superb fighter. See why they dominated, big ups to SA and Lesotho foe keeping the culture alive. A Modimo a le somarele !!!
@@siyabongamakhathini sounds like a plan my brother! I would most definitely love too! Also I have a question. Is there anyway I could purchase a Zulu shield and spear or even the entire Zulu garment and Headwear?
@@siyabongamakhathini ey nami iso isofiso sami lesi ukuthi angazi ku applywa kanjani ukuba i member ngicathi nalokho kungasiza kule channel khona sizokwazi ukukubonga baba .
How do you identify a Basotho and Zulu? Also, can you please tell me each of the equipments these warriors have and what their intended purpose is? I would like to recreate them!
It's a pity in this video we have only 2 sotho guys playing but answering your question/s AmaZULU carry the shield that helps defend or protect your body(a head especially) and ABESOTHO are the one with no shield but cover their hand/s with a cloth... The long stick carried with a shield or cloth helps to block the strikes from the opponent and the other stick obviously is for striking
@@kemoocamouflagechili500 I noticed the Zulu also carry a Longer stick in the same hand as the shield, which also has its own stick. What exactly is that for?
Don't forget according to Genesis, Man is just like the Wild animals , e comes from the soil, but women come from Man. Hence the Most High took the lovely side of us and made Her
@@kemoocamouflagechili500 Yeah the shield that the Basotho are using here look like it's protecting only their hands and they competing against people who have proper body shield.
What about the 2 guys not carrying sheilds, maybe you fell asleep at that part because they are definately Sotho. One even has a big lump on his head from getting hit..Maybe you watched another video. Here is link for the one with slomotion to help you see better ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QU7_w-VAbC4.html
Does the fight end automatically after somebody gets hit hard or does the person choose to end it? I really thought that was cool as it stops any unnecessary injury. Also I like how these dudes don't have massive egos and actually stop when they should.
These guys are great stickfighters , they just met a better warrior on the day. They will learn from this and become even better warriors. The Basotho warriors are great warriors , they have honour and respect that is why he is able to shake the hand of the man who beat him.Next time he may the one who wins the battle...That is the understanding amongst real warriors.
@@siyabongamakhathini I know that but there is a bit of a difference between them In the same way me AND YOU are black but we are different you are Zulu and I am Sotho. Understand?
History has it that many" zulus" are actually basothos! The similarities are there in the open, they even dress alike in modern terms, they look peaceful at a distance...but are ruthless killers. They are bad road drivers but they sure love driving taxis and want to dominate the industry as drivers. Not well educated i must say😂
Tlohela mashano! Not trying to be undiplomatic but we are not a mixture of those cultures in terms of the pure Sotho culture. Yes nowadays a person is half Sotho / half ... because of the parents' different cultures. Pure Sotho is not a mixture
@@bokangmokoena3370 then you don't know your history,Basotho broke away from Batswana 14 century ago and went through the mountains of Lesotho and free state that's where they were called Basotho ,Bapedi as well are Batswana they are a mixture of Shona and venda both Bapedi and Basotho are tswana origin
@@bokangmokoena3370 who are they then? How did they come to form themselves as Basotho ? And when did that happen? dude you stubborn but there's nothing you saying ,no reference nothing nje you just telling me intermixing happened now ? You can even listen to Sesotho language it has Nguni words inside and many of them at that ,this is because of intermixing I see you are mokoena do you know the origin ya bakwena ? Do you know gore Mokwena ke Mang otswa Kae? I can tell you know nothing about your history
Stick fights usually occur at customary weddings , warriors will usually form a circle. When you step into the circle you are allowing your self to be challenged by any warrior. If by chance you do not want to fight the warrior who steps up to challenge you .You step out of the warrior zone . The rules are that you can hit a warrior anywhere with your stick , stabbing is usually not allowed unless two warriors have a score to settle then they ask for permission to go all out.You are not allowed to beat a warrior when he has lost his stick or he is on the ground .This is just a way for warriors to get to know and respect each other. They then all go together as a group to go have a drink and share warrior stories together.
