The A C Norman & Co bass Anglo concertina in G/D - a prototype fresh from the workshop on 2nd June 2020. After years of design, head scratching and tea drinking, building this instrument is what's been keeping us busy during the quiet period of the coronavirus lockdown!

The pitch of this instrument for me sounds great Andrew, the timbre of the sound is much more pleasing than standard pitch. Well done, hope you both are well.

Honestly sounds incredibly nicer than I was expecting a bass concertina to sound. It's not unreasonable to say I've become a little obsessed with this tone now! I hope you make more in the future!

@@ACNormanCoConcertinaMakers Can't wait! I imagine it would be a bit more difficult trying to make a Bass English in a comfortable size, but I've no doubt you'll have fun creating it!

@Kane Fahl - We are currently working on a Bass English 43 buttons, fully chromatic, down to G, double action. Same size as the Anglo. Our concertinas are designed around Italian reeds, where there are two reeds per reedplate.

It's more like a Baritenor basically a Deep Tenor

We make a baritone anglo, lowest note C2 (middle C is C4) the bass anglo lowest note is G1.

@@RockStarOscarStern634 The baritone is a C/G, an octave below a regular C/G treble. The bass is a G/D one and a half octaves lower than a regular C/G.
