i keep going in circles, each video directs me to the one i came from. ive been stuck for weeks, i cant stop, theyve sent search parties, but they too are stuck in this bass loop

Davie slays Rob on bass. He's always locked in a groove, as where Rob's lead guitar tendencies take over

Nah. Rob is locked into a really strong groove as well. He definitely adds more flair to his licks it is a bass battle. I'd say the more skilled player is rob. He appears to have more dexterity and technical prowess

+Not_a_Billy_Joel_Fan You can tell they both play a similar bass style, but slightly different. Davie plays with tons of groove feel, and funk, but Rob has plenty of influence from Les Claypool, so he plays with tons of little fast parts, muted strings, etc.
