Capacitor electrolitico polarizado vai rebentar. O sinal + e- é meramente indicador de posicionamento e fase. O sinal audio composto é sinusoidal. ( corrente alterna) o condensador" capacitor" tem de ser nao polar. De 47 mF vai ser caro. .. quanto a bobina de facto a inductancia sobe e muito exponencialmente devido ao nucleo ferroso todavia a qualidade sonora degrada se notoriamente. Preferível sempre nucleo aério ( sem nada) oco. Leva mais fio Mas o trabalho final sai recompensado. Em quqludade sonora

Wow you discover of America , this connection names crossover or low-pass filter (in video use model 12dB/oct slope)....1. bad thing is use electrolitic capacitor with polarity in audio aplication 2.bad thing is use coil with magnetic ferit coil and no information about inductance specs in Henry unit. Final crossover frequency is how ? Video is in principle educational , but show any mistakes in audio aplications, that it s not right.

I have bass problem in my sony dav 215. Sometimes its automatically turned on & off. Punch bhi zyada nhi ata aur kabhi kabhi speaker se crackling sound ata hai. Should i change the capacitor ?

It's a tank circuit resonant to some unspecified frequency (since inductance is unknown). There is no free energy, so it's having some effect inside the amplifier due to the massive impedance change from the LC circuit. At the resonant frequency, it acts like an open circuit since it is in series with the speaker. Poor amplifier is probably oscillating.

No, it would have the capacitor in parallel with the speaker, this is a resonant circuit which could work if tuned right but it might not be so good for the Amp and it will definitely ruin the sound quality
