Hadrien is téchnically the best bass player i have seen, in terms of phrasing spead, he doesn't seem to have liimits. Gwizdala is more personal and his phrasing is very expressive. Beatiful Jam.
@@luishernandezbass9796 Hadrien has some of the best chops out there but creatively, and thus overall, I prefer Gwizdala. Listen to that solo at the beginning!!
I'm just saying that Janek has a sense of direction 100% of the time, both when soloing and comping. That is a huge factor in what makes a solo interesting. Janek plays shorter than both Hadrien and Otmar, but his solo stands out to me way more. His solo is like a coherent story being told that you can't stop listening to. Hadrien just doesn't have that!
All tremendous playing... Janek, your ideas are some of the most musical, heartfelt expressions that I have heard on any instrument in a very long time. Truly genius... thanks for sharing this!
wow Hadrien ..; Awsome playing as usual , great musicality ... feelings , and killer chops ..thanks for sharing , !!! Thanks Tom ,Janek and Otmaro , such a great Rythm section..
Hadrien killed it! Janek got much of his phrasing from Metheny whom song it belongs to. Hadrien had spot on the moment playing using which ever key they were playing in.
Hi Janek, Wow... Thanks for Sharing this video, I've added it to one of my favourites, its one of those that you just don't want to end, Awesome and Tasty, I look forward to more, God bless, ebplayers..
I think both these guys are amazing. Hadrien does come across as really technical, but what he's playing harmonically is really nice, it just seems masked by that lack of rhythmic change in the intense passages. Janek's also ridiculously talented technically but there's less showing off with him. Awesome vid Janek, you guys rock!
crazy, Janek Gwizdala, pulls off the absolute guitar show, on top of that it also sounds great ... Hadrien Feraud is visibly pleased but then somehow waits for the conclusion of the soli ... and answers ...!
That's RIGHT! thanks man... I know Brecker's version from Tales From the Hudson best. Couldn't place it. Thanks! You just totally killed it, brotha.. love your playing
@Techdrome I didn´t even know that Janek tune strings same as Garrison. The first one was Dominnique Dipiazza. In fact, long time ago Garrison asked to Dominique about tunning strings EADGC, Whereas Dominnique was the firt bass player using 4 fingers right hand technique in the 70`s
Plays just like him as well. Plus, You can see Tom all over YTbe, plays with one whale of a lot of top guys, check him out in "Three' and "Third Rail' w/Geo Whitty.
Yeahhh !! Amazing ...Hadrien sounds perfect , thanks Janek for sharing those great moments .. Mr Ruiz solo is awesome ..such a great quartet , you all guys ,should think of developing this magical formation ... cheers
Hey Janek, try and put a little feeling in your playing.... LOL Holy crap you were grovin... most inspirational. Had seemed to need an expresso at first, till his solo!
@brownchambersheath hey thanks man, I understand your point now, if your saying that his playing doesnt inspire you than im cool with that. I know that some people arnt Had fans because of how he plays, thats cool, its just when people decide to say that his playing is actaully bad or he is not any good on bass thats when i just wont agree with whoever says it, not just because i personally like his style, but in general i think its not correct to say that about any good bass player.
@nathan arnaud~ Plays just like him as well. Plus, You can see Tom all over YTbe, plays with one whale of a lot of top guys, check him out in "Third Rail' w/Geo Whitty. Also...'Three": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h3yWixfLrSM.html Yamaha [gold] drums, both.
