I love fishing the flat creek area part of the lake. Good crappie action and good bass action. Just wish the white bass would school more often in that area. They tend to stay more on the main part of the lake.
Blue store burritos is where it's at!😂😂😂 Billy we went back there the Monday before last. It cold and rainy strong northern wind. Water temp was balls cold! (51-54 degrees the further we went back there) my wife did well on a mini flipping jig and we where planing on taking a special guests back there this coming Monday. I figured it would of been turned on by now! Thanks for the tips!!! And another awesome video Billy!
I'm interested in the rods y'all mentioned! Looking for a heavy rod, but shorter than 7'6 specifically jigs and frog, maybe a little flippin too. Perked my interest.
Fishing In The City post spawn is after the Spawn after the female laid her eggs typically she will move back into deeper water. If you catch a post spawn female they will be thin and will have marks on them from the mail hitting or rolling on her forcing her eggs out. And the males will be guarding their eggs/Fry. But you can still catch pre-spawners and spawners in different areas of the lake they don't all spawn at the same time.
If you're talking about Lake Fork and finding spawners I would suggest going to the south end of the lake and fishing a shallow Cove especially one with a deep creek running through it. But that's just my opinion.
