Here's the next in our series of bass for beginner tutorials - this is House Of The Rising Sun by The Animals. The rhythmic basis of this is predominantly half notes - and it's reasonably easy for the beginner to pick up this bass line because the song has an 11 bar chord form that repeats and the notes pretty much stay in the same place for the entire song.
