Bass generator had a talent for throwing records on at some pace, some djs would still trying to mix in & he was on to the next, always had hard records and ones for the ladies too Legend! 😇
He said on a podcast with Mallorca Lee he got his style from an old dj he heard that didn’t bother with the fancy mixing sh@te, jst rattled out the best part of each record and onto the next rapid style. He said all the Djs round the both were sniggering at his mixing while he had the crowd bouncing from start to finish. He could mix good if he wanted too but had his own style that worked. Millions of mix tapes sold proof in the pudding🎉
I loved him, knew his genres, I'm sure he had adhd, played tune after tune with small interluding mixing between that and created some mixes people thought were new tracks. I used to get my vinyl from his shop just off the High Street in Edinburgh, Technotrance was usually behind the till. Best times ever.

The start to this set is clever and there are actually more songs in than first thought. He went through a period of playing a lot of tunes released on 33 but he either played them at 45 or pitched them up for higher BPM.
