IT'S OFFICIALLY SPOOKY SEASON 👻 For the next 4 weeks, I'll be releasing Halloween-themed reactions/analyses on Mondays at 12pm EST, starting off with this instant classic from Geoff (you'll be seeing a lot of Geoff this month). Hope you enjoy!
Well deserved Pit Viper status! With this one, you might as well keep'em on for the whole song 🤣 This and Oogie Boogie are the first 2 I heard from him. I've been jumping, melting and holding my breath ever since! 🤪 Thurl Ravenscroft is Geoff's idol, and I'm sure he made him proud! I love your reactions, thanks Peter! 💖 Please react to "Hoist the Colours" and "Halo Theme" from VoicePlay next (your Halo is amazing!)
This song of Geoff's just feels like classic, cheesy great Halloween fun. Love it. Thanks for your review and analysis! The explanation about over-darkening and larynx placement was extremely interesting - makes so much more sense to me now. On another note, I know you're getting bombarded with review requests, but heads-up that Geoff's releasing a new Halloween tune probably this Friday or Saturday. It's crazy fun and one of his most creative things yet. He obviously had a great time with it.
Awesome vid. I am not only looking forward to the rest of the Halloween reactions/analysis, but looking ahead to the Christmas season. I things some great vids would be: Mary Did You Know - Pentatonix (My favorite song of theirs) Do You Hear What I Hear - Home Free You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch - Voice Play Mele Kalikimaka - Geoff Castellucci
Ahh I can't get over his F1 subharmonic it's so smooth. Great reaction! You should react to Hoist the colors and Halo theme from voiceplay both. They are amazing
Geoff did another Thurl Ravenscroft tribute with “Saddle Up”. I think his darker tone is really fun here. You do know that VoicePlay did a cover of “Grim Grinning Ghosts” famously sung by Thurl’s quartet for the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. Thanks for the singing analysis. I found that helpful maybe because I am an alto.
I absolutely love your dancing in this, it's such a dark and whimsical song u can't help but dance it out. This is definitely another of my favorites of Geoff's. And love that he gets double SkellyVipers! Ravenscroft would be proud! Thank u again for ur analysis. Can't wait to see the rest of the Halloween list!
Loving the reactions. Amazing stuff. you should definitely do a reaction to Voiceplay's Oogie Boogie, My Mother Told Me, and Hoist the Colors. They are just as good, and of course Geoff is amazing in them as well.
Hello, thank you for the video. I advise you to make, if you haven't done it yet, a reaction to the wonderful young singer Diana Ankudinova. This girl will surprise you with her artistry and rare timbre of voice. She has covers of famous songs, and also performs her own songs.
"The Voca People" Voca People en la fiesta de la tele 2015 live . Listening the false vocal folds activating and the clarity of that last Geoff's sub note is ASToUNDING .
Another great reaction and breakdown. If I recall correctly this song was in a cartoon movie called Ichabod Crane and Mr. Toad and it really is a “scary story around the campfire” kind of song I enjoy it every once in a while. Thanks for having fun and the skele-pit-vipers is great for thematic Halloween.
Gorgeous performance by Diana ❗ NEW: 25.09.2021 Diana Ankudinova Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley / DARK VERSION cover) Please react to Diana Ankudinova ! She has insane and unique vocals and great stage presence and her performances (from the show You are Super ! ( win twice ) are gorgeously choreographed and you should find them very interesting. Top song choices are up Wicked Game Derniere Danse, Blizzard , Human , River . She is really an amazing young artist!

This is originally from a Walt Disney kids movie The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, from I think early 60s? and weren't all the heads singing in their Head voice?
I would love to see you react to some of Thurl Ravenscroft’s stuff! I think on a lot of it still really holds up, and I know that there are some really great compilation of his low notes.
Already responded with it in a different comment, but for the sake of stopping misinformation, this is not true. Much of it is sung in the regular high chest voice (which can be clearly heard in the "the headless horseman needs a head" part) and falsetto, which is not the same as head voice.
Any tips for a new bass singer? I just discovered im able to lower my notes into the 1's range but i need to be able to do it comfortably. Not really straining for the notes eitber
Another fun and informative review! I'm curious about your pirate flags, too. I've been into all things ocean and pirate related since I was a little girl (because of my surname). Are they skull & crossbones, or are they from a known pirate?
I believe mine are all the Jolly Rodger flag with the skull and two swords crossing underneath (I like that one more than with the crossbones for some reason). Have you ever seen the show Black Sails? Absolutely fantastic show
Not true. Much of it is sung in the regular high chest voice (which can be clearly heard in the "the headless horseman needs a head" part) and falsetto, which is not the same as head voice...
