I liked Sub Focus’ songs back in 2012 when he was getting quite popular and I was only 15 at the time so I didn’t really delve any deeper into him. Tbh I thought sub focus was a group not a single person so yeah 😂 anyway it wasn’t until last year when he released Evolve that I actually realised he was 1 guy and even then for some reason I swear I read he was Norwegian or something. Anyway his music really hits me, almost like it’s perfectly in sync with my body. What a great guy

I got to see him live in Miami a month or two ago. Small stage. Great atmosphere. Wow it was truly incredible.

Theres more to dnb than the mainstream, hardcore/jungle/dnb has been going since 92ish and has been underground for the most part, it will never die and has out lived most genre's incuding garage, dubstep, grime, and soon would've out lived hip hop...

Interesting, but that sound isn't a Donk. Happy Hardcore was never known for using Donk's either. the basses where mostly just samples of literally anything with a tight envelope and pitched down. most would probably call that a "stab bass"Donk's where waaay after the 4/4 early Happy Hardcore stuff. in the UK they first made an appearance in Hard House and most people are going to know them from all that bouncy stuff that was going on up North in the 2000's in Liverpool, Wigan, and Lancashire as a whole. i can count on one hand the amount of Happy Hardcore tracks that used donks, and it is none. there isn't a single track. they was used in a couple of tracks in the later UK Hardcore stuff though, but the people using them where Scouse House producers making UK Hardcore, but the only thing that differentiates these though is tempo really, so i am not sure that counts
