good riff, also we all know THIS bass sound, the sound of the beginnin'.. sure is important as hell, you drove me back in time, brah! keep it up, this is the most important decision youve ever made, also greetings from Brazil!
The pinky was a hard finger to keep down on the fretboard. Even after 10 years of playing I still kind of have a hard time but take it slow and it’ll all work out on its own 💪🏽
nice! I reccomend practicing some economy of motion with scales- u wanna try to move your fingers as little as possible, itll really help you be able to play a lot faster!
cool riff, you can spice up your playing a little more by doing octaves, play a note on the E string and then play 2 frets higher on the D string, and this also works for the A and G strings too. i look forward to more of your ABC's Awesome Bass Content
aaa thank you so much for the advice, this helps a lot! i play upright bass so im just so used to playing open notes tbh.. im trying to get used to the bottom half on the electric LOL doesn't help that i forgot most of my scales because this is the first time ive picked up an instrument in around 2-3yrs... but! im also lookin forward to my ABCs tbh!!
Nice creativity. Find a drum beat to play to. There is plenty on youtube. Try different styles (funk beat, reggae beat , rock beat ,etc.) Find one that you think sounds good with your riffs. It will help you improve your consistency quickly. Good luck!
