thats flying on a jonboat! The classic is a decent all around boat for lakes and nearshore fishing for under 20k, with plenty of room for upgrades, its the best new fully equipped boat deal going right now at 14,925
I don't know how fast my 2024 Tracker will go, but I have caught 69 Crappie from it in 2 trips to the lake. I.burned about a cup of gasoline on those trips. That's fast enough
@@barrywright1311 I have a 2018 Classic with 50hp, 4 Stroke. 4 blade mercury black max 15 pitch (10.1x15p with no extra work done to the prop) 12g fuel tank, 3 - group 29, rear hatch compartment LOADED, about 10-12 rods ALWAYS ready, 24v trolley, 2- 12in lowrance, 2 seats, just me, motor on 3rd hole from top, no jackplates, no Power poles and I run 38 mph calm and 36 with slight chop when WOT and 32mph when 2 up. Sweet spot is about 5-7mph's less @4500rpms when trimmed just right for very very very long runs. I do have a 10x17 pitch Black max, but the 50hp can't push it. Maybe if 60hp ECM upgrade can. .... Yes, owned it since new and still plucks'em 🍺
Could you please check what markings for diameter and pitch are on your prop? I have a honda 50 with a 4 blade prop and I can only do 17. But my boat is a 15.5 foot fiberglass twin hull, so I don't expect to hit 30. But a few more mph would be great. Thanks!
I get 38.7 out of mine with only myself in it but 29.4 with another person on board I love it the only two things I hate is why are the seat so cheap plastic hinges and that hook 2 really I already had a nice hummingbird 7 from my old boat but I love this boat
