Guys you need more structure to the questions and topics! You jump from one thing to another and come back again to the same topic at times! You need to steer more the conversations rather than the guests steering it for you! You can get more out of the guests! For example would have liked to get his thoughts on protein and how he compensates that in a plant based diet! You raised the question but there was no answer, conversation went into a whole different direction! Having said the above which is coming from a place of admiration to you both! I do enjoy the show!
Yes and stop interrupting with random words that are your interpretation of what he’s saying and not what he’s actually saying. Just let him answer and get the thought out in one piece
Dr. Bassem Youssef is a great, aware and educated person, and a wonderful interview full of events. Thank you
It wasn't Sarde interviewing Bassem, It was Bassem Interviewing himself. Very nice to see a lot of presumptions about Bassem being demolished. He's now his own plain human self, again. I can relate and could imagine those endless nights of self-reflecting, overthinking, panicking, and eventually recreating. & I've always wondered what was Bassem doing after Egypt, I saw some videos here and there, but now I know he's in a better place. It's a lesson to all of us out there; Media has a major effect on us, It can sometimes blind us from what's actually happening, and what's actually important. Good one Sarde
Just wanna say that lately I have been seeing a lot of podcasts that are based in the Arab world, after being out of the Arab world for 8 years now it really makes me feel happy to see this, so much has changed and to see my ppl attempting change on a deeper level is great! Keep on being awesome! Much love from ur Iraqi brother!
It would have been nice to have a deeper conversation with him especially that I am sure he has more depth to him than plant based diet. It took too much of the show time instead of delving into his brilliant mind.
I am Lebanese student, addicted to your podcasts, I follow you from Lithuania 🇱🇹 and admire you a lot. I told my friends in the Netherlands to follow your beautiful topics and also to learn the Lebanese dialect in a fun and interesting way. However, I am learning from you because I am planning to do podcast in Lithuania.
by the way, I love Bassem Youssef and I saw him on Jessica Azar's show and I can feel how different his speech is... Thank you guys for being real and allowing us to see him in a setting where he seems like his real self :) rock on
Ugh this was a bitter sweet episode to love.. it was unstructured and random jumping from one topic to another, there was so much opportunity to talk about issues in a deeper perspective and even ask better questions! Yalla cava i still love this podcast ❤️ keep going
When he said "Defy your own expectations" it really resonated with me. For me it was way deeper than saying the clichéd "go out of your comfort zone", I can write an essay on why is that. Thanks I enjoyed the podcast from Tunisia
We need more boldness! I would like to thank you guys for the frankness and transparency with which you speak up about. We want to break the barriers of fear and cross the red lines so that we can help others and shed light on the things that everyone wants to cover up, one more time. THANK YOU!!♥️
Finally a decent Arabic podcast. If you guys need a Palestinian to interview just hit me up ✌🏻. I am a filmmaker and I have so much to tell about Palestine , about my own journey in Los Angeles , about life in Palestine especially with covid closures and Israeli occupation . I’ve been in Two lethal car accidents and survived two wars so I guess I have a lot of stories to tell and I’d love a genuine Arabic platform to be portrayed on . Keep up the good work 🤍
@@sardeafterdinner by decent I mean epic . Come onnnnn . By decent I mean comparable to a mikhalia Peterson podcast . Palestinians have a harsh dictionary that’s all lol. So your not decent, you guys are majestic
How can you tell that this show embrace diversity.. The two presenters were smoking and they hosted Bassem who is always in shape and active and ready to talk about healthy plant based diet movement
I believe that being a cardiologist and a comedian are not contradictory professions. As a cardiologist, you treat patients who have already developed heart problems. On the other hand, as a comedian, you work on the preventative side by making people laugh, thus reducing their stress levels and lowering their blood pressure to prevent heart diseases. Indeed "laughter is the best medicine"
Learnig from past experiences is a most efficient way for us to move forward, and Mr. Bassem gave us a lot of his experience... Great guest, and great episode and Mouin you are improving a lot as host. Keep it up guys!!
You guys are the beacon of the new generation! I love your show and your guests too. Your style is different and refreshing. Keep up the good work. We love you ❤🇺🇸🇱🇧👍
I Just came across this channel, and it got me hooked instantly, proud to see such deep discussions in the middle eastern and north african world, Much love from Casablanca, Morocco 🇲🇦
I would like to thank you ( Mouin & Media ) for every single episode you worked on and the one you gonna work on, every time i learned something from each guest. you provide me a great content from all of these variety questions. keep it up
Don't use projection on people.. Nostalgia is to be attached painfully to the past.. Questioning is the first step of the revolution. The Mamba Mentality, to the best version of yourself at all time.
One of the greatest people in the Arab world nowadays. we might not recognise his effect now, but I’m sure he will be mentioned in history books💜 Greetings from the holy land
This was very enjoyable to listen to. the flow of the conversation was great. the part where bassem talked about getting out of the comfort zone was very inspiring in a way.
You have to arrange your questions, and your sentences. It's nice to have a spontaneous conversation, but even "spontaneous talk shows" are prepared previously, in a way or another. Nothing personal, i love the channel.
To be honest this statement that people in entertainment suffer more from the imposter syndrome is questionable, at least as a public figure you can tackle this by looking at the number of audience you have which can be a good measure. However, for normal people there is no way to convince yourself that you deserve what you have. Great episode like always, cheers.
Folks, the show is called Sarde! I think you have an expectation that a podcast should be structured and so on! Be tolerant, support this effort and let go! It's a Sarde in the end! Thank you Médéa Azouri & Mouin Jaber and keep up the good work. On the topic & the guest, wow! I admire that Bassem is trying to let us see him, against all the projections we might have! Things that resonated with me during this episode: 1. reinvent yourself - it always feels good! 2. people's projections are very dangerous.... They put you in a frame that you cannot escape! 3. be glad that you wake up and have a new idea... 4. be raw - if you want it that way. Forging is a compromise! 5. put yourself in the room, enjoy the isolation! 6. be real 7.share all you can give.... Give all you can to others! Don't be stingy... Be generous to yourself and to others! 8. appreciate yourself... All that you ARE! 9. appreciate those who do what you can't and those who do what you can too!
This is a great podcast , Bassem Yousef is good for Political Comedy and apparently he falls in the dilemma most of social influencers falls in , listening to others …his wise words are coming for a real struggle in about that , but I liked him more in sarcasm
