Bassets are the best. We just put our 15 yr old down. He was a beautiful old soul, with the same coloring as yours. I miss him so much. Your hounds put a smile on my face.
I relish the peaceful walks on this channel. My Jack Russel is basically a flying squirrel that runs after everything and my collie hoovers everything. Summary: I walk with a hyperactive squirrel and a vacuum cleaner😅
Had a basset who was smart about what direction we were going in the car. When we got to the main drag, if we went left, it meant the vets' office and he'd whimper. When we went right, he knew it was the dog park and would bounce and jump around like crazy in the back seat.
My basset goes to doggy daycare twice a week. It’s a 20 minute drive and she whines with excitement from the minute she gets in the car until the moment she sprints through the daycare gate. Apparently she doesn’t stop running and playing for the entire time she’s there 😂
One of the parks we go to is just after a very bumpy bridge. As soon as we hit those bumps the excited whining starts 😂 Bassets are so sociable I bet she has the best time at daycare ❤
@@FlatbassetShe does. They are such a sociable and affectionate breed. It’s like being Beyoncé’s security at times- she has a little fan club everywhere we go!
A walk in a beautiful park, doing some exploring, seeing what new scents they can find, meeting and playing with new friends (and don't you know they love EVERYONE they meet), rolling around and trying to get a stinky going, finding a stick too big to carry, snorgling wif Mom, Basset life is good.
There were several more great thumbnails and calendar shots with the bassets in the back of the car. .with them looking over the seat.. Good morning all !
@@Flatbasset it's just the best though. My Penny could be a sibling to yours, they look quite similar. Just LOVING the channel, so happy to find other basset lovers! 🥰
Awesome start to this video with excitement in the back of the car ❤ Luv sharing these outdoor experiences with you; such beautiful spots near Napier. And thx for the 1931 quake insights
They actually do 😂 usually after a bath. We've tried to capture it but it's so brief and they can actually get pretty fast zooming from outside down the hall to the kitchen and back. It usually ends with them having a crash and playing some bitey face.
After one of my sister’s Scottie’s died, she’d chauffeur the other to a park a few miles away because more beautiful people walked their purebred dogs there, so there was more smelling to be had.
