Well this sound battle turned out exactly what I expected to. The Studio 7 goes much deeper with a smoother sound. The Tribit is a overall much better speaker and has better bass 45Hz at maximum volume with a wider soundstage and more upper bass. So it really just comes down on the person wishlist. Great video Willington 👏 can you compare the Stormbox blast to the XG-500 but make sure you update the Sony because it did get a pretty good boost in sound performance 👍
@h1a8 well I got both of em now plus 2 Blast, the midrange is better on the Studio 7 but it is too forward, the Tribit definitely wins outside, btw I just made a video on the go plus play 3 if you want to check that out
@@bigtee7560 I wouldn’t say the Hyperboom is overpriced lol it’s 100 dollars less than the Jbl Boombox 2. Plus the Hyperboom will destroy the Tribit stormbox blast in sound quality at 100% volume if Willington doesn’t use the stupid bass jump mode.
Ok thanks for your feedback but I honestly believe that the hyperboom will destroy the tribit stormbox blast. Have you saw the video of the tribit stormbox blast vs the jbl boombox 2. If I not mistaken the jbl boombox 2 sounds better then the hyperboom. And the tribit is just as good as the boombox 2. Plus it is way cheaper at $199 compared to the $449 price tag of the hyperboom. For that price range you can get 2 tribit stormbox blast.

As a owner of a Harmon kardon hk onyx studio 7 I can confirm is the best speaker out there for those who want to listen to powerful bass 😫😩i can literally feel the whole vibration through my legs when it starts playing powerful bass songs is a really great speaker got it for only $200 not bad definitely was worth it😂
Using a graph equalizer we can fix all speaker issues, bass mids high. Imagine the tribit playing 40 hertz and the other notes at the same db. What a good indoor sound we could get from that.
Not just tribit, all other speakers. I have a stormbox micro and with a active graph equalizer i get a nice sound. Fix mids and highs, reduce mids and high, maintain bass at max. Nice to relax at home.
@@a.m.3118 I can but you not be happy because the speaker distorts playing 40 50 at max. I can give you my mid volume eq strong bass sound. "The speaker is tiny, dont expect big bass"

Thanks for the comparison Willington, I feel the tribit wins in overall loudness and bass but the studio 7 as a quality sound signature than it. I love the studo7, I even own one and have always cherished it. I know you love the studio 7 and wouldn't wanna hang over the King 👑 of bass. Why didn't you compare studio 7 to boombox 2.

I DO BELIEVE..that the stand alone battery options are a true representation of PORTABLE....How ever we All know the Harmon Kardon ONYX needs to be plugged in for the actual wattage and Best sound representation of thier excellent products ...The BEST BASE THAT I CAN AFFORD..LOL...Another piece of Art you have created for sure. YOU are #1 on my list for base testing before I buy a new Speaker!
Btw iPhones have the best music playing capabilities because of the secret hi ress lossless setting and the Spotify eq is really good and you can turn a on 110 to a pb 300 if you know what your doing
Seems like a good honest review. I have a HK Onyx 3 and the bass is fantastic, may be too good tbh if you share walls with neighbors haha. The battery is terrible and it doesn't get loud enough to bring outside or to the beach etc. I just learned of this TriBit brand and I picked up a Stormbox Pro and excited to test it out with the 360 sound. If it's really really good I'm going to buy 2 and do the stereo sound. I can't find any great reviews on it yet.
The studio 7 seemed to have a tighter bass, and a better balance between midrange and treble that made the vocals more intelligible. Sure it doesn’t get as loud, but it still gets loud enough, the tribit is just over the top.
Studio 7 bass is not tight, due to a slow bass and a severe lack of mid bass and a slight lack of upper bass. It's rumbly as hell though. The Tribit is tighter (you could even say boxy), but is less rumbly due to more mid and upper bass
The best hypothetical speaker in my opinion would have the upper bass of the Tribit with the lower bass of the Harman Kardon, with neither really being emphasized over the other. However, on its own I would take the Harman Kardon. As for the treble, I would prefer treble with the volume of the Tribit, but overall smoother timbre of the Harman Kardon. I don’t disagree with people who like the Tribit sound, after all, everybody’s ears are different. I think neither are perfect, but I’d rather have a gap in midbass than a slight lack of depth.
The studio 7 is smoother but that’s because of the compression the dsp is doing to provide the speaker lower frequencies. You can hear it if listening close enough
H:k studio 7 connected to power sounds with much more power than playing with battery,it sounds great in battery mode but connected to power is another thing👍
Yeah, i think that's fair. You want some mid and upper bass boost with rock which isn't really there with the Onyx Studio. But if you're into anything electronic and dance the Onyx studio delivers well. Techno, Trance or Dance it feels like you're in a club. Tribit will definitely have the edge outdoors too.
Something changed in the audio because at 100% the Harman kardon lost volume and sounded like it was lower volume than at 60%. That makes no sense. At 60% the Harman kardon is a much much better speaker, way more see detailed.

The Tribit has more bass and Harman has less bass, but deeper bass. The Tribit is much louder, but the Harman fares better at maximum volume in my opinion
To Onyx is slightly deeper but the tribit has a more aggressive upper bass and still has some decent bass and as far as the one I would buy I would love the studio but I would be wanting more volume and probably wouldn’t enjoy it that much so I’d go with the tribit but honestly I don’t need no more speakers I’ve probably got half as much as Willington I have 5 sony speakers xb43 xb33 2 xb32s xb90 1 jbl partybox jbl xtreme 2 and 2 Bose revolve plus Samsung t70 2 altecs 2 pulse 4s 1 beats pill + also got like 5 bad as pairs of headphones Bose nc700 sennhisser sony wh1000x5 AirPods Pro max and bowers and Wilkins
Tribit tiene un sonido con más cuerpo, el Harman Kardon reduce la cantidad de graves cuando se sube el volumen, como un mal altavoz, un buen altavoz hace lo del Tribit, mantiene el sonido igual en cualquier rango de volumen
Tribit is much better of course but if HK just got like boombox model it would be a fair comparison. I think it would be fair if you compare soundstick4 or AURA3 vs this tribit
The Tribit definitely sounds muddier than the HK so the HK sounds more hifi at 60%. Can you not eq out the muddiness of the Tribit.l? Does it come with an eq app?
Have you ever thought about changing battery in the harman kardon to a bigger one?.. i have a HK GO + PLAY but the battery wont charge so i cant use it outside sadly.
Thank you man..tribit kills the show here. Onyx is a good speaker but not in class with this monster. I prefer tribit even at low volume, overall winner here is storm blast.
ofc lmao, the tribit has two drivers whereas the studio 7 only has 1, regardless it’s still keeping up with the tribit and the studio 7 he’s better highs and does a better job at separating vocals

I think each speaker has its own purpose, depending on the situation. I use a Sony XB43 and most of the time I play it at 30-50% volume. It has a nice bass and great battery life. I play it in my truck when I drive and at work. In this case, at lower volume, the HK has a much cleaner overall sound (including bass) than the Tribit. So, if you value sound quality and you're in an environment where you don't need to blast your speaker at max volume, the HK is a better choice. If you want it loud but don't care much about the sound quality but still want to have some bass, Tribit is definitely better out of the two.
i agree on this,harman kardon for those who value sound quality but for those who mainly likes their sound to mudafuckin blast all day long which is ofcourse what most people would like then get the stormblast
@@samuelduru6247 That is about a draw, deep bass doesn't have that much range outdoors so I expect the Tribit to win that outdoors and the Boombox indoors, being a draw for over double the price. If the Boombox was priced at 250€/$ I would be fine with it
Sounds like Tribit is more bass focused sound where the mids are recessed in comparison. Maybe better for outdoors (especially with the better battery life). The studio 7 is meant for indoors. The studio 7 on main power gives a much better sound and punch.
The Studio 7 has a refined sound, but can't keep up with the Stombox Blast. Pity someone decided that designing the Studio 7 to look like a strange purse would be a good idea. I'm not really that fond of the lights on the Stormblast, but it's nothing a vinyl wrap can't solve :-).
@JBL King 2 pricewise probably not for everyone... Im talking to those who look for the best out there.. budget shouldnt be an option for normal people who just want to buy a speaker that will hold for a long time
