2008 or '09, my wife and I are sitting in the lobby of a hotel outside Nashville, TN waiting on family to arrive. I look to my left and recognize Roland sitting on couch. I draw attention to my wife, hand her my crappy flip-phone and ask him if he'll take a picture with me. Well, my wife wanted in on picture so we all 3 are looking around for someone to snap the photo when the elevator opens and Jimmy comes bouncing out. Roland calls him over to take the picture while I'm trying to find someone else to so Jimmy can get in picture also. Anyway, Jimmy ended up taking the picture and flirting with my wife. Good day. Lol!

3 of my heroes + Hank too. My son..... and 10 yo local turny winning granddaughter. Met Roland at a BLM turny in Michigan lake st.clair last week she cryed Mr. Martin asked why she was crying she said " cause your my hero" then he took a selfie with her..... Good guy

Roland Martin was the most dominate angler ever and it's not close. Yea van damn has been pretty dominant as has Scott Martin. But no one dominated there era like Roland Martin. This man was a monster. He is to bass fishing what Dale Earnhardt was to raceing.

These men kept me out of trouble when I was a kid. Well, not always, sometimes I would get in trouble for going fish'n instead of doing my homework. 🙏🕊🐟🐋🇺🇸

By looking at Bills show and the proper way to tie a crappie jig it helped me catch more crappie...

I had to Tap out around 8:55. The crowd speaking just ruined it for me. My Dad was Ronnie Ray. He fished B.A.S.S tournaments on Beaver Lake Arkansas back in the day., Roland Martin came to our house on the mountain. Dad brought out the Topo maps of the lake. I sat on Rolands lap and watched it happen. Back in the day. Roland Martin came to our house on the Mountain. I sat on his lap.
