Great mods. I recently picked up the Trio TR-7200GII and the 70cm version. I know my version uses the rear accessory connection for the external VFO selection so using that little DDS you could transmit any freq with that. My plan is to use the PA section and some of the pre-driver components on the transmit board for my HackRF SDR. When I find a good copy of the diagram. Seems like a pretty good radio for the age.
