Truly amazed at the different levels of pitch everyone can reach from lower pitch to higher notes as well. They have a good rhythm and balance of musical chords and background instrumental sound as well.
Dan honestly is a really good singer-songwriter. His lyrics are always very original, and the songs themselves are always very catchy, but most importantly, they're current. If Bastille got just a little more airplay then they could be huge.
I've loved this song forever and now every time I mention bad blood people are like "oh, Taylor swift?" And I usually just stare at them and then walk away.
In Germany, Dan's type of hairstyle is really popular right now. Nearly every boy's got it. Of course, their hair doesn't have its own gravitational pull and orbit system like Dan's, but close enough. :D
Oh my GOD 1:09 Dan, you are perfection in this world, I'm serious ! I love your voice, hair, eyes, teeth, smile, just EVERYTHING ! I love you so much ! Bastille rules !
We were young and drinking in the park There was nowhere else to go And you said you always had my back Oh but how were we to know? That these are the days that bind you together, forever And these little things define you forever, forever All this bad blood here Won’t you let it dry? It’s been cold for years Won’t you let it lie? If we’re only ever looking back We will drive ourselves insane As the friendship goes resentment grows We will walk our different ways But those are the days that bind us together, forever And those little things define us forever, forever All this bad blood here Won’t you let it dry? It’s been cold for years Won’t you let it lie? And I don’t wanna hear about the bad blood anymore I don’t wanna hear you talk about it anymore I don’t wanna hear about the bad blood anymore I don’t wanna hear you talk about it anymore All this bad blood here Won’t you let it dry? It’s been cold for years Won’t you let it lie?
Sadness? I always think the clapping in this helps, if i did not realise the clapping, it would seem less grounding and more depressing or sad, but from singers point of view seems beyond advice, dan very deep singer with his lyrics, i like that myself personally, can not describe that either, or this.
Bastille is by far one of the most talented music groups out there today. Dan has such form and the lyrics to every song are absolutely genius. I'm moved by everything you all do. My kids are huge Pompeii fanatics and now know all that happened to that city thanks to Bastille. Love you lots!
I'm sorry, but I had to stop the video at the beginning just so I could get my laughter from his hair out of my system..it's a bit much, but it's adorable as always :3
I've always been aware of Bastille, but never really listened to them until today, and ohh my gosh, I have been missing SO much!! I can tell already I have a new obsession..and Dan Smith is just too fucking perfect. I'm i the process of downloading their discography, I'm so excited to listen to more of them!
I just can’t get over how cute Dan is in this!! I mean everything about him!! His hair’s fluffy, his eyes are like a cute puppy, his expressions while he sings!! He is ADORABLE!!! Especially at 0:08!!💙💙💙
Why everyone talking about "dan's amazing hair" but not about dan's amazing voice? I've been listening to bastille like 1 yr and a half and still impressed by his incredible voice🌟
Omg its amazing to see how much Dan has grown as a person since the release of Bad Blood. Now, after the release of Doom Days he is more confident, but still as awkward and adorable as ever! I love the whole band so much, they've all grown, I'm gonna cry, I'm so proud omg!
omg the hair is just everything, i would pay anything to run my fingers through it. If only I could go back in time, and do it. Missing the old messy hair.
I worked and attended college so often, here we are, listening to music from 10 years ago. It is me catching up with music and movies I had not ever knew about for so long. LOL. I am seriously amazed.
i love how dan gets so into singing the song, thats how you know an artist is real. other singers just mouth the words, but not dan. he has true talent, they dont even need autotune!
Omg this is seriously talent, not many artist can sing live, or at all. Haha, but seriously... Bastille is always gonna be my favourite band, Dan Smith is gonna always be my favourite artist and lastly, Dan's Hair! OMG it's beautiful haha x keep doing what ur doing
Want to see this messy haired, young Dan again. He looked young, immature, happy, dedicated and passionate. The current Dan looks mature, stressed, and less as happy as before.
The song is amazing, the band is amazing, they have talent...but, apart from that, Dan is so damn hot...look at those messy hair, those green eyes, that deep voice! I think he's in many girls' dreams!
I love this song guys..it's bad to have bad blood and truly heartbreaking..I know from experience keep making these amazing songs and you'll always have me as a fan😃
Imagine living your early years near performances going on every month at our convention center. The likes of AFI, My Chemical Romance, and so many good bands playing (I'm over there in the area like: I only have enough to pay my measly bills (while working with new music and movies being released at work). In the area buying a little $5 cup seeing all the people attending the $200 a seat concert. Friends I have known since grade school setting the shows up in Fresno and getting in for free with the likes of The Rasmus and Lost Prophets (was totally sickened to hear about the debacle of the lead singer). I still ask how I had enough to attend a few affordable concerts in my youth (some underground) and these larger than life bands I couldn't ever see here in Fresno, Ca because they either don't ever come into town or the tickets are way out of my price range. Well, at least we find ways to listen to music we like then, right?
