Annually, a large military parade takes place in Paris to commemorate the 14th of July, the French national day, known in English-speaking countries as Bastille Day.
French President Emmanuel Macron led parade.
An aerobatic performance by French Air Force Patrouille de France flew over the parade route with training color blue, red and white.
The marching troops were followed by the parade of motorized units.
The parade passed down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées from Place Charles de Gaulle, centered around the Arc de Triomphe, to the Place de la Concorde, where President Emmanuel Macron stood, along with members of the Government, figures from the legislative branch, the Mayor of Paris, as well as foreign ambassadors to France.
