When I look back at the pandemic I’m gonna remember spending a lot of it waiting on Bastille premiers and honestly it’s the only thing that has kept be going...
Kyle's comment at the end! I can't 🤣🤣 This song is so perfect, I've been listening to it constantly since you dropped it 😍 it's my new jam in the morning to hype me up for the day!
Did you guys listen to Barcelona by Ed Sheeran before you wrote this? The keys sound exactly the same! (absolutely no hate, cause I love you and I love Ed, so fine by me😂)
I LOOOOOVED how you guys gave us the behind story and all the work that's been done behind this seeeexy song!!! It's amazing I might like it more than overjoyed..... we'll see how it goes. Much much love from Greece 🤍🤍🤍🤍
I absolutely love those videos in which artists give us BTS of music making. It’s always so interesting! Btw SOTL is a banger! That sax and bass are amazing 💃🏽
I can't explain it but I don't buy the "be with me, in this bed" from the Dan at 3:28 but from the Dan at 3:31 - anytime. :D Seems like one Dan is spooked by saying sexy and the other one would be like "yeah, look up the definition to find a picture of me, babe". :D
This song brings my thoughts back to your first album ♥ it's like a lovechild between The Draw, the 80's and the balancing on a cliff edge into the future.
I love your music, and I am genuinely so excited to listen to this new album considering all the effort and thought and love you've put into it. I guess to preface, I should explain why I felt the need to comment on this video, when I usually don't. I actually rediscovered your music during the Early stages of the Pandemic when one of your songs showed up on one of my curated Pandora playlists as I was taking a walk around my neighborhood. I'd been in a writing rut for about two years then, and then, after listening to one 3 minute song by you, I wished for a pen and paper because I had an idea that I wanted to write. I ended up writing a scene then and there on my walk on my phone, and I took a moment to realize that it was your music, the way the lyrics and the instruments came together that inspired me. I looked up all of your albums after that, and I fell in love with your music even more. The lyrics, the way you merge the music with them in such amazing ways is just wonderful to hear and always always always makes me itch for pen and paper! I only learned to sing Indian Classical music, so my music knowledge is limited, but I'm a huge sucker for strings. And when people (ie: musicians) get creative with Strings, I am all over their music. I remember that when I heard "A Million Pieces" (the strings version), I cried because it moved me so much. I'm a lawyer in real life, and your songs are my way to decompress after a long day. They're the things that have inspired me to create and become a better writer I'm honestly just genuinely grateful that y'all continue to create such amazing music. I hit creative rock bottom and your music lifted me up and out of it and continues to inspire me. I just felt like you needed to know that :) KH
I love seeing these behind the scenes of your music process!! Please keep doing more, your music is amazing but it's even better seeing all that goes into it and how it morphs into being ❤️
I really love your music and when I walked home today my friend got mad on me cuz I talked TO mutch about the music and how much I destroyed my skin at the P.E 🤣
