So probably not much of a chance of you reading this, but if this is the second time you’ve had a bat in the house, then you very very likely have bats actually living somewhere in your house, like in the attic. They follow the cool air rising up the walls to try to leave at night and sometimes end up in rooms or basements. But the bigger problem is how many are likely in your home already leaving guano all over the place. I hope you have an exterminator come out to check out your home.

Protip time. Butterfly nets work best for bat in the house situations. Get yourself a hat to wear backwards. You know, for some sort of armor or something. It really boosts your confidence, so don't skip it. A flashlight if it's dark too. They use echolocation, but we use eyeballs that need light to see stuff. If they're flying, they'll have a spot somewhere in their haphazard loops around the room where they pass through the same point of airspace for a few laps. Find that spot quick, it's your intercept point. Wait until it's about 3/4 of the way through lap 3 or 4, jam the net in your intercept point, and the dummy will fly right into the net. Works every time.

I caught a bat that was stuck in my house the other day. Pretty sure that’s why your video was recommended. But he was super easy to catch and really adorable when he was screaming in my Tupperware. He makes those noises because he uses echo location to determine his surroundings. Just stuck him out the window and he flew out into the night. It was very educational.

I started watching his most recent videos all the way to the oldest and I see a big difference in how he used to talk from 7 Years ago and to rn with the same stick figures but ended up more funnier 😂

If that is the third bat you found in your house you have bats living in your house somewhere.. there's never just one. they might be living in your attic or something and they're finding a way inside the house. they're definitely living in your house somewhere and they don't go away either as a matter of fact it's very difficult to evict bats out of your house once they've established your house as their home. year after year they will come to roost there. You have to figure out where they are in your house and how they're getting in there and then block it off so they cannot come back once they leave. you have to set it up in a way that they can leave but they won't be able to get back in. like a check valve for bats

Last year, me and my wife awoke at 4am to the sound of loud scratching in our bedroom wall. Turns out we had a whole colony of bats living in the attic that had been there since we bought the place. Fortunately, we never saw one and had a bat control guy come hook us up with exclusion devices. That wall movement was still the most disturbing shit I've ever heard, though.

You know this man is inspirational. He has made a living off of one 5 minute video a month being animated by a child with epilepsy. This is the American dream! I love it man keep up the good work the videos are awesome!
