Great job fellas! I totally agree with the Hellfire assessment. My biggest issue is that it's "too forgiving" I can't ever tell if I smoked the ball or missed it until I watch the ball. But either bat is a great choice for anyone wanting a top-tier option. Can't wait for more!
"Too forgiving" is probably the best description I've heard. Exactly right. Really hard to tell how far the ball is going to go when you feel it off the bat.
Jealous yall are getting to hit atm. We hit 70 last weekend and was able to get about 200 in. I don't play Asa but am always looking to add to my arsenal. I've had my eyes on the hellfire but haven't been able to lock one in. Thankfully tourneys don't still to March here. Love the videos guys
Hey Josh, thanks for the comment. We are definitely lucky we can play mostly year round out here in California, but finding a field w/ fences is what we struggle with! Definitely recommend checking out Pure if you don’t have an ASA bat and we might be able to connect you to a rep that can assist with getting one in your hands! March is right around the corner!
I’d say monsta is still the top dog after swinging both myself the pure didn’t have as forgiving of a barrel but definitely preformed when you caught sweet spot, great video as always!!
@@LeagueNightSoftball I think it’s my propensity to not like long barrel bats that’s why I got the sidewinder hoping the short barrel and 25.5 weight would fit my swing better I’m hoping it gives my fiend or sinister some competition
We assume this as well. However, we were comparing those swings to swings from just about a month ago. I don't think we've gained THAT much spin in that sort of time but, how knows? We were happy with the results either way!
At the end of the day Hellfire hitting further so if one doesn't care about the feel or sound it makes .....then it's a no brainer to game the hellfire over Monsta? Or is my logic off ? Personally I just try to game the bat that hits further and it having a bigger sweet spot is an added bonus
Awesome video… now see this they perform very well but don’t you think the weighting was a factor. 26.5 vs a 25 I think it would be a better match vs a blacksheep m5
We also swung a 26oz NAGAAA (Fallout) and a 27oz Fallout and the distances/exit velos were consistent. Should mitigate the slight weight differences. Biggest difference IMO was the feel off the barrel. If you can get over that, or aren't familiar with the barrel feel of a Monsta, I would definitely recommend a Pure
Don’t think so, all of the monstas test at the max velocity at their respective weights, the weighting would be a bigger factor between bats made from the same company
We would definitely like to see if the Louisville ASA bats are solid, just haven't been able to get our hands on one yet. We will keep an eye out and put it on the shortlist for a review. If you know anyone that has one, let us know!
@League Night Softball I was thinking of getting one myself. If I do, I'll hit you guys up. I live in California and play at manteca bld. Use ASA bats for our league in Modesto.
@@LeagueNightSoftball yeah . I was like 😳 . I didn't realize y'all was in the Bay Area . I'll have to come down spring summer time camp out for a week play a league n tournament with y'all. I'm 57 but I'm not all old n decrepit. My Brother comes to so cal in Feb from Colorado. You guys end up in Ventura County anytime soon lemme know . I'd be honored to sign y'all up for a tournament or whatever . Blessings guys
If any of the balls crested the ridge and went down the hill it was about a 100'+ hill down to the storage warehouses below! Luckily, the grass was long enough on the ridge it kept them from falling down!
Pure felt good, but it didn't give as much response as Monsta did. Performance-wise, it was on par. Definitely think Pure is on the up & up as a company. Will be interesting to see if Proton fights its way into the conversation now that they have partnered with Monsta. At the end of the day, us consumers have a lot of options and most of them you can't go wrong with! Thanks for watching
