Riverline - i agree. It was so sad to see how bad that injury was! It didn’t look like he’d be able to skate again... he still has to use this special device on his foot, because it’s practically numb b/c if the excessive nerve damage. He almost lost his foot! So no I don’t think he’s too bummed about losing. But he’s still very competitive by nature. You can tell there are some tricks that are still tough, I’m guessing inward Heels are high on the list.

Mike's foot is still paralyzed. As much as his ankle brace helps him, it's just not the same. If he never got injured, he could easily make it to the finals. Thats how good he was before his injury.
