Duarte Pombo Yes it is, you can't do a trick down a gap without catching it. And you're not gonna do a trick you don't have on lock down a ten. He does every trick from tre flip to switch hard flip and ghetto birds down massive gaps so I'm sure doing these on flat is a walk in the park and that's why he's more consistent than most
of course you can. you get the hang of gaps. i dont know how to bs big that well and did on a 10 stair. some tricks are even easier on gaps. nyjah couldnt do sw bigheel in flat some time ago, he did it down hollywood 16 tho..or. look at reynolds for example. he is really good at gap. maybe not as consistent skating flat.. of course it is related. but not necessary. also there are really good flat skaters that suck at gaps. but who cares tho pointless argument.
Don't get me wrong shane is a monster, I'm not sure he has all these body varial variations of these tricks though... shit i think thats the first inward heelflip late 180 I've ever seen...
I hope not. Checking this video I saw him clap after Asta missed a trick, which I already saw him do during one of this year's battles. Not a great sport if you ask me
Tom has it haven't seen it yet but I know. I have been refreshing my feed for the past 10 min for this!!! Update: how tf did I this happen 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
That was definitely one of my favorite game's so far. Which is kinda weird because although I like both of their skating styles, I'm not a huge fan of Asta or Joslin. I know they're both ridiculously talented, and deserve to be in the "BATB-X, Best of the best" ,but neither are in my top 20 favorite skaters. With that said, the level of skating in that game, paired with them both having multiple chances to "take it", made that awesomely intense to watch, even though I wasn't really rooting for either to win.
Skateboarding just has to be one of the chillest and homiest sports out there. Like a new rule called "no malto manual shit"? That's fuckin amazing. And Koston messing with the whistle in the beginning. I love skateboarding so much
beast as fuck, highly competitive, ugly style, sweats like a wildebeest in the African Sahara and body will be destroyed in 10 years but can win pretty much anything or smooth as fuck, style for days, could care less about winning competitions, wears beanies and all black inside LA warehouses while skating without breaking a sweat, can do virtually anything tech and will probably be ripping at 80 which one would you rather be?
Thanks to my vids joslin is next level wolverine. Ever since my knee rehab vid he corrected his issues and now has more energy and power than I've ever seen. Rem that knee brace that was fuckin his skating up ... ask him if he wears it?! You can still jack your shit up but Atleast tendinitis is cured which helps prevent future injuries.
GEEZ good to know, if you want to get an 'S' on Chris Joslin you have to at minimum do a nollie backside 360 kickflip. lol

I think u guys should put like a black screen with 2 min in the end of every battle clip.. sometimes the lenght of the video "spoils" the result... but fuck it i love it anyway
Damn I didn't see Joslin winning this game as tom has a really good flat game. People better watch out for Joslin now as he didn't even pull any of his odd tricks this game.
Tom ASta is ruthless, WTF just happened?? yeah Joslin's bag got a bit bigger, but anyone please watch BATB 8 Asta vs. PJ Ladd, Asta took Ladd out with a trick I still haven't seen copied, unless someone can proove me otherwise.
Joslin is surprising everyone just like he came out the gate swinging at SLS last year. I thought Tom Asta had this one but he was messing up a few tricks that he has on lock. Nerves must've gotten to him. Tom Asta is an absolute beast at games of SKATE and Joslin ALMOST skunked him. I think it was more Tom's nerves than it was Joslin's skill. Not trying to downplay Joslin's skill though but I'm saying it could've just as easily went to Tom if he wouldn't have messed up those few basic tricks he missed, which is odd for him. Joslin is doing really well though. He's on fire.
