Holy shit just yesterday I was thinking about how good my own batcave would be.Damnn I love your videos. It's like your topics are so diverse with such excellent content.Mad respect and keep making more. You help us become a more badass versions of ourselves.
One of the things I noticed that helps with productivity is organization. Thats a word I shudder to, but organizing your work space helps with your flow state. Another big help is organizing your desktop on your PC or laptop. Another thing I shudder to but it helps so much.
You sound like a skinny dork but then to see you is like looking at a real life Batman, dude you are an absolute beast. Well done. Very inspiring and I'm actually cleaning out my third bedroom tomorrow to make it into a gym.
if u want to clear clutter out of your feild of vision but have your books n such available try hanging a sheet over the shelf... amazon has a ton of wall hanging with background pics printed on them. A sliding plywood wall with corkboard is cooler but more work ;) I divided my gararge up with old worn out bedsheets, initially to keep the air con where I was, but it cut junk out of my vision pretty well. Good video, u make good points on how a good space makes it easier to achieve your goals.
I love the squat rack turned standing desk, it's really genius. I already have an adjustable standing desk and seperate squat rack, lowkey wish I had thought of this.
I mix batman and black panther to try and become the perfect human I love ur channel as a African American u inspir me I bought a sign language book body language book and lip reading book am gonna take my life more serious may science religion and tradition be with u keep this learning going
I have just a few dumbbells with weight so far in my room (and a pull up bar in the hallway, as it nearly broke my doorframe xD) As I'm not going to a real gym (rather expensive here, atleast the good ones, and I'm a broke university student) I'm using my bed as a bench (for single arm dumbbell presses, or single arm rows, and anything else that just needs 1 side to be lower than the other basically). Same for incline/decline pushups, but recently (after watching a few of your videos) I got creative with using everything i have at home. For example some books/comics to put my hands/feet on while doing pushups, to have the possibility to get even lower. For dips I'm using my bed and a chair for example, also works quite well. Also got the idea to use the railing on my balcony (im living in the ground floor, so no risk there) to muscle ups, when I'm finally able todo them xD Only thing i have no idea for atm are upside down situps, i really wanna be able todo them at home, I tried some a few weeks ago at the local public pool, but I would have to pay an entry fee each time i go there :/
Awesome work! Where there's a will there's a way :-D Could also use those railings for dips, for isometric curls, even to attack something else like resistance bands or a rope for some one armed bodyweight rows! I've been there! Good luck finding somewhere to do the sit ups :-)
I never watched this because I didn’t find it relevant but I just watched the follow-up to it and it was really interesting so now I’m here. I never should have doubted you. Also, I work out in a literal bat cave. I have an unfinished basement attached to my garage. The garage is fine, but the unfinished part is mostly damp and filled with dirt, spiders, mold, and a small family of bats who come in and out from a vent on the side of the house, and only a small portion of it is paved and actually usable. That’s where my gym is. It’s probably slowly killing me to be down there and I’ve developed chronic sinus problems and the only explanation is spending so much time in that basement. It’s a shitty workout space, but it’s my shitty workout space and I’m dedicated to training so I just make the best of it. Now that it’s warm outside I’ve switched to doing about 80% of my workouts outside but during the winter I basically live down there.
Thank you and I enjoy your videos, and I have learned a lot from you. Now also what makes my situation interesting is the fact that I work overseas as a contractor and we only have a limited amount of living space so finding the best way to utilize that space has always been a chore but you have provided some great and interesting ideas.
I currently own a wear house which is where I train at and manufacture weapons which I sell as a contractor. Currently working on the focused lightning gun as I call it. You'll see it in the news soon as new military tech.
Great vid. I'm working on a set up for my loft. Got a multi gym Great if you haven't got a lot of space because you can get so much out of one bit of kit.
The Bioneer Oh believe me I plan to someday. No now I'm poor and use a cooler as a bench press. I really like your videos by the way. They inspire me before a workout or when I'm learning.
I’ve actually been thinking about this and what I was thinking of doing was building a separate garage made out of wood where I’d do research and work out like a box with a bed, computer, and lights
My aim is to keep my desk super minimal so there's absolutely nothing to distract me, then put all the cool stuff behind me haha. I think I'm going to buy a walking treadmill. If I'm sitting at the computer for multiple hours a day I may as well get an extra 10+ Km in. I tried one and you don't even really notice you're walking when you're so focused on what your doing. Awesome double up.
even if u just set up a box to bring monitor n.keynoard up.n make a standing desk it makes a huge difference.... I used an aluminum case to.bring one monitor up and left the other lower so I can change from standing.to sitting... just pop keyboard up or down.depending. If I sit for too long my back gets sooooo stiff, but I dont like standing all.the time so I.alternate
In case someone wants the details... I got a cap with a ball attached for boxing , a fixed bicycle for cardio(soon i will get a rope too) a few dumbells, a barbell, few strong elastucs i use as resistence bands, the pc, more books that i will ever be able to read(and still i buy more of them, because i use them for research, so, i might not read the whole book, but if i need info on something, i have them...) a violin, 3 guitars, other 10 instruments, and many notebooks for writting that i write with both hands and from the back to the front... Oh, and soon i will get a black mirror used for altered states of mind...
There was a Dragon Ball Z trailer recently released for some game I haven't played called; "Ultra Instinct". I watched it, and it immediately made me want to train. So I kept it in an Inspiration/ Motivation Playlist. Things like that can make a huge difference in charging you up to do good work. I'll put this bad boy in there as well. Great stuff! Subbed
You should do an update video for this with more of our home gyms in it ! Super cool ! And maybe anything you added or took away from yours since this?
I heard much more benefits of using manually motored treadmill. Looking more into this manual motored treadmill, is there any recommendations for good bench?
I love your videos man, really cool and unique channel you got! Also really cool idea to have a small little place to workout and get work done all in one area.
Thanks a lot! I think the best thing is to speak to your physio tbh and rest up. Maybe try some of the tips in the healing vid. Don't do the RTO push ups though - they are preventative not curative. You've got to toughen them up before using explosive/heavy weight bearing moves. Good luck, hope you make a speedy recovery :-)
Omg you have a katana? Please make a video about sword and swordsmen from the past senturies and their trainings for body and spirit u know kinda like the old fashion samurais. And again thanks for your amaizing videos.
Hey my man I love your content it's always very creative as well as informative but I'm still waiting for you to try that entire Bruce Lee diet for 6 months I'm patiently waiting my man keep the great content coming
Oh man, for some reason I wasn't getting any notifications for a long time from you. (Started getting them now). Awesome vid. How's your new Batcave coming up after the move? And thanks for the shout-out (joe_freedomlover here :) )
This is awesome and pretty inspiring. For the video on accelerated learning using the web, will you be going in on how to research information to increase accuracy. Love your work.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :-) I may touch on that, but in future I will be covering how to assess scientific papers, that one will go into that in more depth!
The Bioneer thank you. The struggle is still on but I have do a better sense of direction and video games do not serve me except it's so nostalgic. At least I still have movies and I substituted video games with comics which I have recently gotten into :D
9:31 hmmm you watch Athlean X too? I know that move. I commented too soon. I left out that I love the video topic. But then I love pretty much everything on your channel. Two big things I'm lacking in my lifestyle right now is better nutrition, though it is not bad right now. And I NEED to focus a lot more on brain training and Edit: Nootropics.
Hey brother bioneers I recommend check out tiny house nation on the diy channel in the states it will give you excellent ideas to maximize space in the bio lab. Ps Spider-Man is my inspiration I appreciate his recycling techniques :)
The videos you make are of top-notch quality. I know the effort you are putting in (I have a channel too :) . I know the value of your channel. The thing you are not popular like picture fit, asap science etc., shows that something is off. I personally think your voice and voice tone itself difficult to understand. I am from India and as a non-English speaker I can understand most of the things you say. But still I need to crank the volume up or use headset to understand completely. Try talking slowly and clearly like vsauce and Kurzgesagt. I giving this advice because I don't wanna see talent getting wasted. I want to see at the top :)
Thanks man, all feedback much appreciated! It is a little harder for us non-Americans I think. Will keep working on the delivery - it used to be worse believe it or not! Good luck with your channel too, I'll be checking it out :-)
