Have had 2 goes with Batek mini 2 and love it .2 issues .I have a heck of a job unlocking it and am not a frail old lady (yet ) & have to get a wheelchair suitable for me and the Batek None too easy in Germany .There is a mega speed limit here on batek .6kmph or if you want more you do a driving test and get number plates . Glad I watched this as have no partner to call so must ask if Berlin has a wheelchair rescue service ..... any ideas why I have problems unlocking ??
I've had numerous issues with docking and undocking the Batec. I'm informed it's user error as it's critical to line everything up accurately. It's pure guesswork as far as I can tell since the dock is under the seat. I've been rescued by passer boys when I've been rolling backwards downhill. I've also needed rescue from a failed undocking which I really believed would require emergency services
Thanks . Had a go on the klaxon 1000v think its there most powerful. Great fun super quick but wasn't great up a bank and thought it would stuggle on a beache. Have you ever tried the meyra optimus rs?
@@tobywoolgar9517 No powerchair can drive on dry sand or wet sand. Tyres work by grip and there is nothing to grip in dry sand; same for wet, your wheels would churn the sand and sink. There are special beach chairs with really large tyres but I cannot remember where they are.
How far can you go in terms of there and back .The batteries look very heavy .Let's say you want to go to the shops .can you go in with the chair only in which case how safe is the battery mount and gear left outside ?Watching you is looking at my life looming . That’s disappointing re the tri ride burning out not what you need at all How do you find the batec on hills and gravel ? I have a trike but it’s useless on even small inclines
@@ilovebrean traction is not a problem on any powered wheel if you are able to pull yourself forword in the seat, almost leaning over the handlebars. This then transfers lots of weight to the front wheel
Tri Ride looks like a great heap of shit, there is so many bloody things to hook up and then to run out of power or whatever it done is just NOT an option
