Can you charge say two harbor freight 35amp hour batteries batteries hooked together with this or no? To double the amp hours since those batteries can can only be taken down to 50%.

How can you be sure that it is really an MPPT controller?

Easy, measure the voltage and amperage going in, and measure what's coming out. These units are 95-98% efficient and have very fast mppt tracking. Absolute bargain!
