A bit of a departure from the comics. Barbara Gordon was still Oracle during Hush, and it was Huntress who came to his rescue after Barbara sent out a distress call. Funny thing is, when Huntress answered the call, Barbara was like, “Uhhh, is there anyone else nearby?" 😂😂😂

Cyrene2000 Honestly I feel like they just do this every single time they start to lose the fandom. The Comics weren’t well at all, so we got New 52, and then they plummeted so we got Rebirth. And each time they add extremely unnecessary details to a character’s background, such as Superman having a history in the army. It’s just tiresome at this point and I would have liked for this Animated Universe to continue. They set up a lot of great characters in this movie, and all the more recent ones like Lady Shiva who they completely wasted in Apokolips War. Batgirl, Bane, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Superboy, Wonder Girl, the list goes on. I liked that movie a lot because it showed the realistic portrayal and the consequences of war but the ending just really frustrated me. There could have been a more decent way to bring everyone back without having to reset the timeline.

I kind of find it interesting how the killing joke plays no part in this universe. joker doesn't cripple her in this movie and even in apokalypse war you see her fighting against paradooms. And although it was a big thing that happened in the Batman universe let alone, it's kind of a little notion that just because it happened in one universe doesn't mean it has to happen every universe.

well, yeah. Batgirl is good, but compared to catwoman she's still a rookie. But notice catwoman never even tried to fight back, just evaded everything then backed off.

She most definitely would not lmao Catwoman is a master thief she isn't a fighter. She's ranked lower than All of the Batgirls in terms of combat Barbara Gordon, Barbara Wilson, Stephaine Brown, and she most definitely isn't beating Cassandra Cain who is ranked 4th Overall of DC Martial Artist. Cassandra Cain has beaten Batman, Lady Shiva, and Richard dragon. And Barabara this batgirl has fought Lady Shiva to a standstill. Barbara led the the Birds of prey which consists of the best Female Martial artist who all rank above Catwoman. Black Canary, Huntress, Casandra Cain, Katana, Lady black Hawk, and catwoman occasionally. Barabara can defintely beat Catwoman who is more thief than fighter. And out of the Bat Family Barbara is right behind Dick and Damian in terms of combat. She's a better martial artist than Jason, Tim, Kathy, Kate, Helena, Stephanie, and Luke. Don't sleep on Barbara. She ranks 5th in the Bat Family as far as martial arts.

Paris Webb Catwoman would beat Barb, by sheer skill, knowledge, & experience. The Batgirl used in this film is Barb Gordon, & she is above average but not ranked with Black Canary or Huntress. She’s mid-rank on her best day with Spoiler, Misfit, & others. Catwoman displayed far more versatility & has trained with some of the greatest male Hand-to-Hand Combatants in the DC universe. She led B.o.P. while wheelchair bound. Her skills are hacking intuition & knowledge in gadgetry. Catwoman could defeat her easily with her craft & unique fighting style. Barb is potent but she does not compare in physique nor combat. A weighable component would be Betty Kane.

@@The9od Barbara is the number 2 Batgirl. Cassandra at Number 1. Batman trained Barbara and Dick to be damn near his equal they both have an impressive solo stint. Barbara at one point was completely solo and Betty isn't a better martial artist than Barbara. Catwoman would lose to Barbara. Catwoman would beat Stephanie and Helena. But Not Barbara. The current comic timeline Barbara beats Selina. It wouldn't be a straight up beat down like if it was Cassandra but Barbara just pure hand to hand beats Selina. Selina excels in acrobatics and theft but Barbara has always been a martial artist.

To be honest superhero romance were always adrenaline highs after battle plus the fact that in order to survive said battle you open up yourself to your partner which leads to mostly romance

People who are saying that this Barbara and this batman did it... don’t be dumbasses. That was a completely different movie in a different continuity, in a different universe. Hell, the sex wasn’t even canon since it didn’t happen in the comics. In the comics, Barbara was paralyzed during the HUSH making her Oracle, not batgirl. Everyone, just chill tf out.

I didn’t get why HUSH was so underrated. I kinda liked it, wouldve hoped that Hush was Thomas Elliot and if we wouldve seen more of Batgirl and Damian.

Mainly because of the twists, and changes. I loved this film, but I really didn't like the ending. It felt like a forced attempt to return to the Status Quo
