Bath & Body Works Bridgerton Collection Is It Worth The Hype? 

I agree, we need more body products. I think Bridgerton is worth the hype if you watch the shows or read the books. All of the Bridgerton products go so well with the show. Bridgerton 3rd season is coming on May 16th!!! Yes!!! I am so excited!

Happy Monday! I wish there was more of the Danberry shortbread. I wanted that in the body care! Soo good! I also love the mirror stand. It’s super cute. I have the teapot on my Vera Bradley flamingo purse. I get compliments on all the time lol.

This series helped me get through the Pandemic! The Queen Charlotte series is amazing too.

The only scent i liked was Danbury shortbread. It is so good in the wallflower! Would've like it in body care..

I love this collection! I think it's the most beautiful collection b&bw has come out with 🥰 The chandelier wallflower plug and the teacup one is 💯 I also love the cute pocketbac holders and scents they came out with. Not sure if this collection is more exciting for fans of the show? My store has a lot of candles and soaps, but all the accessories (crown three-wick holder, wallflower plugs, pocketbac holders, and mirror tray) are basically gone. 😭 A lot of the items have been sold out online, and I hope they'll get restocked.

I'm so old that I read the BOOKS this series is based on! I liked the tea scent and study scent and got the candles. I think they introduced so many good scents at the same time. I like mists and lotions too.

I got Danbury Shortbread in the candle during the flash sale. Excited to pick it up and burn it.

I think certain things are like danbury shortcake and the charlotte tea candle, love them both. My husband really likes the shortcake one. ❤

Me too, they missed the boat on not offering the body care. The hand soaps were a bit weak, same with the wallflowers. I passed on candles I think the same with the luxury dupes. I always buy in scented pairs. There were so many good ones but unless I felt it paired well with something I already had, I passed without a body cream or lotion. For collectors its maybe enough but for me, both collections were a bit disappointing. Packaging was beautiful on both though.

Hi Bonnie, Loved the video. ❤ ❤❤London season technically is spring into summer. BBW is probably following “London Season” to release the collection. Probably next maybe something towards Christmas . It’s following storyline in the novels. At least that’s what my thought process is. I picked up all the 5 candles in the flash sale yesterday for around $10 each which was good deal. It goes into my collection.

I think there arent lots of reviews on Bridgerton candles/line because people are collecting them and NOT using them. I LOVE The wallflowers especially Wisteria Garden!

I honestly think one has to watch Bridgerton Series to understand the color scheme and prints on the candles, the meaning of the name that is used for the body care products and all the other products available at Bath and Body Works etc…

I like the Bridgerton series so I wanted it. Danbury shortbread and queen Charolette’s tea were my favorites. I might pick up the other three scents for collection purposes and the chandelier wallflower.

I waited till the $12.95 sale to get them. I refused to pay that much. ❌️⭕️

I agree that the collection has a fall feel. The scents and packaging lean more toward the fall.

If BBW released some,'Wookie Watermelon','Princess Leah's Lemonade,'The Force' cologne ,& a mini light sabor pocket bac,my 35 yr old adult male cousin wld be in BBW 😂. Imagine 14 yr olds at Justice b4 it closed, w/'Mean Girls' collection or TIKTOK stuff. Lol. the Netflix IG & the Bridgerton IG are on fire it seems.. Maybe they didn't want to do all 5 scents in BC.. maybe they'll release a perfume in a cologne I don't know but they definitely could have done it a little differently in my opinion. Giving them a break since it's their first collab but, they definitely should have done a lady whistledown or King George something. Anyways it is what it is. Just like the Girl Scout cookie makeup from Walmart that I ran out and got it's really not the best makeup but since I was a girl scout leader and sold million boxes of cookies LOL I went out and grabbed it for the girls♡♡ . I did think about this, what if they had done a Victorian house, a large teapot or a beautiful beehive luminary maybe not 250 but maybe a little less people would have bought that too. I wouldn't have but someone would have or like the decanter set they did at the holidays maybe they could have done a teapot with a teacup or something. You know how we are when we start collecting stuff LOL. I didn't think I would enjoy the show either but I put it on one and a half speed and I breezed through a couple episodes and kind of enjoyed it. Queen Charlotte is the like prequel though in case you do watch it. So now I've moved on to stranger things and I can't figure out some of it LOL

It was my understanding that the body care will come out in waves? First was Diamond of the Season and then maybe a Danbury Shortbread? My thoughts are that they just launched so much at once in so many different collections. Makes sense that they would ease in with Bridgerton. Im def hoping for my body care as i am not a candle and wallflower shopper at all.

I’m not a Bridgerton viewer but I think the hype is worth it for those who love the series, which many do! The candles, names and the theme fits the Show theme from what I can tell so I think it’s a good job by BBW

Diamond of the Season is a perfect sophisticated peach 🍑 & my daughter & I have been going ham on it! We also love the series & Queen Charlotte ❤!! I think the hype is real because I want everything associated with this. I may place an order to get what’s let on my wishlist like the B & Teapot pocketbac holders. My mirror & chandelier are my fave pieces.

I think the new season of Bridgerton on Netflix is starting in May. That might be why they moved it up in the BBW stores. Just a guess.

I wish they would do like a Victorian dress and a ladies’ shoe candle holder. What they put out was good but a little lacking, although I know they’ve released so many big collections lately. Just feels like they somewhat missed an opportunity here. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t feel like I’m the right person to judge this collection/collaboration. I have only seen trailers for Bridgerton and never really had any interest in the series. What I did enjoy from the collection was the Danbury Shortbread products; I enjoyed the scent. The style of the pieces for the home doesn’t really fit my style of decor. I could see some of them as Halloween pieces, but even then I am not sure I’d gravitate towards them. I think if this was Harry Potter collaboration or something I very am interested in, my thoughts on the products/pieces would likely be much more positive. That’s why I’m probably not the right person to ask about the success of this collection.

I am not a fan of the show but I bought a few pieces because they were cute....pb holders, two of the wallflower plugs and two candles. I’m burning the wisteria candle now and I think it’s a good spring scent. And I like tea scents, so I bought that candle too. I think they’ll keep pushing them with the regular sales and try to recoup some of the money they must have paid for the Netflix collab.

YES I like Diamond but I would never pay full price. I wish they had body care absolutely at least mists

I got the Lemon Floor Cleaner (Diamond of The Season FFM) some of the soaps and pocketbacs. When you said "So candles were $29.95 and other than the Bridgerton name there's nothing special about these candles" made me laugh. 😂 That's why I try not to pay full for anything full price at B&BW. 😂

I think the big drawback of hyped up collabs like this is that while it does drawn in people who are a fan of the product theme, those who aren't familiar can actually be turned off. I've never seen Bridgerton and am not sure just how popular it is among B&BW's customer base, but the feeling of being out of the loop was enough to make me disinterested. And that's totally fine, I'm really glad I'm not interested in everything they put out! But I think that might be why there are so few reviews for the Bridgerton themed products and this collection seems to be talked about far less than the Everyday Luxuries one.

I haven’t bought much from this collection. 2 candles and one soap and several wallflowers. One of the associates told me BBW does have a deal with Netflix.

I can't get into it but I've never seen thh show. I haven't purchased anything in the collection. I actually did see international delight coffee creamer at the store and the flavors were named after bridgerton

They really overpriced the wallflower plugs. I passed on them. It was just fine. I have never watched it either. ❌️⭕️

Ithink the collection is much more exciting if you have seen the show. I love the Diamond of the season, body care But not as much as Brightest Blooms.

Honestly, season 3 starts in 3 weeks this timing is perfectly planned. They know what they're doing. Those of us that are BBW obsessed have secured the items before we watch the show. The rest of the people will realize the items are out there after the season 3 starts. it's just like any other thing that we are all out here collecting.FOMO- LOL. I promise you if you are into the show then it is more important to you. Just like I started watching stranger things because I never knew the hype. If they put out a Willy Wonka collection I would be at the store at 6:00 a.m. the day before.

Hi Bonnie! Honestly....I was underwhelmed. My local store had a very tiny table at the back of the store. I feel like this collection should have been released during the holidays. There were a couple of repackaged pieces like the wall flower plug in bust which was the Headless Horseman. Just in a different colour. The crown wall flower plug in is again from Christmas. The 3 wick Crown candle holder was actually the single wick candle holder from Christmas one year. I think it's not worth the hype. I guess if one is a fan of the collection of books and the Netflix series then yes they would love this collection. I only picked up the mist and 3 wick Crown candle holder which is enough for me from this collection. I don't care for any of the candles generally or the soap.

I didn't like the Bridgerton Body Care at all. I really wanted a mist in the Danbury Shortbread. 😢 What I DID jump on so fast was the wallflower plug (which was reward eligible so I used that) and the 3-wick candle holder. I used my 25% off coupon on the day it expired and my store had one left. I grabbed it so fast! I actually use it for my mini perfumes because I set them in it while organizing my vanity the other day and I left them there because it was so pretty!!

There's no excuse for them still not releasing all their scents in all the products they have produced. I'm so sick of this being only in soap and that being only in body cream, etc. The candle prices were nuts too.

4:15 IMO, its neither- its a Collab.. BBWS 1st one AND,*Season 3* starts in 3 weeks! THE hype on Netflix is insane The timed this to GET NEW NETFLIX viewers..& ,imo, few weeks, they will have Netflix ppl going to BBW.. --- if you watch the show( or any show) - you are into it b/c ur a 'fan'. I don't think the Bridgerton collection has been fully purchased because it's not really on sale except the soaps or if you hit the wallflowers. If this was a Willy Wonka collection or friends or Scooby-Doo I would want every piece just because I love those particular shows. So, WATCH Queen Charlotte, or a few episodes, .. 332 candles in my opinion were a little bit much. They were $2 less than the vanity. I think Christmas had pricey candles out as well and I don't know why they need to raise the price. There's a couple other things BBW could have done differently, imo, but remember it's their first collab, and guess what? How many people have bought something from Bridgeton collection who had never seen the show question guilty as charged😅.. and now I've been watched season 1 season 2 and queen charlotte. And I love the shows. They just bring you to a different place that we normally don't watch a lot of shows about. Makes you really think what it was like with no running water no toilets how everyone calls themselves lady or whatever and the women don't even know how children are conceived yet they are looking for suitors I mean husbands LOL

I believe that Bridgerton was marketed to a younger demographic. I think this was an attempt by BBW to say to the younger generations, "hey look at us, we're cool."

I LOVE BRIDGERTON! And both seasons are top 10 Netflix most watched. So I’m not sure why you keep saying it’s not mainstream…

Hi, Danbury Shortbread Foaming Soap smells a lot like Cherry Almond Shortbread Foaming soap, imo

I watch Stranger things also, but wouldn’t be interested in anything in body products or candles.

Never saw the show either. I've been getting the shortbread candles & will stick with buying more of the candles & the hand soaps. I agree they should've made more bcare to match the scent of each candle & they prob would've sold more product. It'll prob go down to 50% eventually then at the end of the SAS it'll drop further.

It’s not a holiday collection they have to clear out so I don’t see it going to SAS either.

I'll be honest I think it's a pretty collection...But over priced, and the diamond of the season mist is just average...And the candle has zero throw.

What about the lotions

I did not actually buy anything from the collection and not planning to. I don’t watch the show and the scents are just OK. I thought about the wallflower teacup because I am a big tea enthusiast, but it doesn’t really fit in with my decor.

This collection is not selling well at my local stores. The hype made it seem like it would sell out really quickly. I have the Diamond of the Season mist (I use it for layering because it’s really weak on its own) and a couple of the Pocket Bacs. I think it’ll sell better at SAS.

I watched the show. I feel like an English garden, actual cream tea, jams, scones, sandwiches & scents natural to England would've been better. A cookie scent that they do every Fall was not a stretch for B&BW. I feel like they missed the mark. I was so excited & then disappointed.

This was all packaging no substance, they must've had to pay a pretty penny for the right to use the name. Diamond was straight up air freshener shortbread would've been a hit. The labels looked nice I guess.

Danbury shortbread is my favorite and i like the wisteria. To me, it smells like lilac and grape. I love it. However, the study scent is awful to me. Smells very musky which i despise.

they are hyping it up because Bridgeton premiers in May and June netflix is pouring out trailers of the up coming series.😊

I am skipping that collection all together just don't care for the packing and price too high.

They're not moving through the product very fast at all. It was a bad collab, very narrow amount of people watch the show.

I love the collection. I also love Bridgerton and English literature too so maybe that’s why I’m on board. If you knew the reasoning behind some of the pieces they chose to create and sale it would be more appealing. The carriage pocketbac holder is probably one of my favorites. IYKYK 😘🤭🫣 I can’t wait for that particular scene in the school with the carriage.
