In today's video, I give you my top 3 Basketball Dribbling Drills that you can do at home! This simple basketball dribbling workout is super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these dribbling moves into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting, scoring, and your overall basketball skill level! These are moves that we see the top NBA point guards use regularly guys like Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, and Chris Paul!
My first drill in the bathroom dribbling workout is one that the top NBA players use all the time it's the triple hang cross! This drill is awesome especially to do as a warm up when you get on the court! We see a lot of the top ball handlers in the NBA use this move to get their handle right. This move also is absolutely an ankle breaker, and it is one of my favorites because of the type of separation you get when you hang the ball out before you cross. We see a lot of the elite scorers in the NBA guys like Russell Westbrook utilize this move all the time to create massive separation especially coming downhill in transition. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring you absolutely need to implement the hang crossover into your game.
My second dribble move is the double in and out crossover. This is a move that is tailor-made for a smaller guard. Think of guys like Trae Young and Kyrie Irving. They both do a great job of utilizing the double in and out cross to pin the defense on their backside while they try to get in the lane for an easy shot. The double in and out alone is a super cool dribble combo but adding the crossover and selling the move with your eyes it will really break your defender's ankles.
My third dribble move is something that point guards are using all over the league especially in pick and roll scenarios, it's the cut dribble or the yoyo dribble! This is one that Chris Paul aka CP3 uses to shake free from his defender. This move really only works if you are able to really sell them first we focus on the cut coming out of a pick and roll really selling the pass with your eyes. When you are practicing this dribble move make sure to really sell the movements so the defense will bite leaving you open for an easy jump shot. All of the great scorers in the NBA can score in a lot of different ways so by perfecting a move like this you are almost always going to get a good look on your jump shot or driving the ball down the lane.
