A victim

Victim David took her and sleep with her. She obeyed the king. Wasn’t of her own will but force.

A victim, she feared about betraying her husband but also feared about disobeying the king so she was forced to comply

Bathsheba was a victim just Luke her husband Uriah. The Bible doesn't go in depth about her character. Only that whilst she bathed believing she had privacy Kind David saw her. He watched her. He lasted after her and he sent his servants to bring her before him. David knew she was the wife of his elite soldier Uriah the Hittite. David knew Uriah was defending his kingdom. Scripture dictates that Uriah was a Hittite but whether or not he became a devout follower of the God of Israel it doesn't say. However, I am thinking Uriah must have worshipped David's God because Uriah served David. Uriah was a zealous, loyal humble, and respectful servant to his king. He was dedicated to his comrades and put duty before himself and his wife. David siezed the opportunity to have sex with Bathsheba whilst her husband was away. Could Bathsheba have refused the King David? I doubt it. Women especially in ancient times were to be obedient to men no matter who they were and what they wanted. David knew all he had to do was get her alone. Bathsheba submitted to David because she couldn't refuse. David put Bathsheba's life in danger by sleeping with her and getting her pregnant. In Israel, Bathsheba would have been stoned for adultery if her secret was discovered. She was a total victim.
