I just love watching you on build your bus I envy you for what you all are doing wish I could have done that years ago me and my husband but it didn't happen racing two grandkids. Hope you have a wonderful and a very blessed rest of the week thanks for these videos I really enjoy watching them
You guys have really inspired me and my wife to try this ourselves. Were going to look at a NABI bus today. Thanks so much for the videos! Your step by step break down really helps!
Thank you so much for the sticker. I can’t, or won’t at this time, put it in my bus but I’m going to be putting a magnet on the back side paper and put it in my motor home. Then when bus gets done I’ll put it in there. I’ll need to chase wires soon but I don’t have a handy dandy schematic book like you do. Sure makes it nice. Great job on sink and tub. Thank you for your video.
G'day that little sink you could spray around the blue rim of it, I couldn't live in that humidity It would really stuff up my rheumatoid something bad, good to see you again well done John
Hi guys Flexseal is liquid rubber and enamel clear coat most likely wasn’t the best choice. I hope it works out for you and cracking won’t happen to soon.
When I saw what you had at 0:07 I thought "it'll take forever to have a bath in that!". We were going to have a jacuzzi on the roof of ours, next to the Tiki Bar and sauna. Then common sense kicked in and we decided on solar panels instead. Best wishes from "the other Don" in Australia!!
I sure hope that you have better luck with the Flexseal than I did....lol And the "booty shot"...nice!!....so much for me being able to sleep tonight, as I won't be right for awhile....lol..
At first I was disagreeing with the foam choose but I love the way you researched all available products. Your dead one for all of the products you were looking at. Both me and my wife have lung problems. Good luck. I know you'll make the best chose.
Hey Fred, a lot of people have opinions on insulation so we needed to do research and find out what was right for us. If there is a more eco/healthy alternative that’s the way we want to go. Thanks for sharing and I hope your lung problems are not to severe
Love watching you guys. We just bought a 1997 MCI 102 DL3 and plan on working on our conversion project starting in a couple of months. You guys are doing a great job. Thank you for posting your journey for all of us to watch. You are our new fixer-upper tv show. I do have a question - where did you get your MCI manual? I will need 1 seeing that we are following in your footsteps. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.
Hi Stephen amazing so exciting getting a new bus and project to work on. We were lucky to get our manual from a mechanic who we had do our regular service for us last year. He had an extra one in the shop and we are so happy to have it. If you message us through our website ( rehabit8.com/contact-us/ ) I can get you an invite to private MCI D3 owners Facebook group and they have alibi for a digital version of the manual you could download. It is a really great group with very helpful members
Hi just was wondering on the sink and Your Tub Why didn't you put your drain holes in the bottom before you Painted? The Painting You both did Came out Great.
Well, the sink we weren't sure if we wanted to use it as a sink, it was kind of like a test for painting before we did the tub. I'm glad we didn't as we are going with a different sink option and that little tub for storage. But with the bathtub we probably should have cut the drain hole first. We'll probably have to do touch ups on the tup after making a hole
Lukas my understanding is that the metal would actually leach into the water, but the leak seal is a sealing it. It's non-toxic and designed to be used and safe for plumbing. And no, no smell once it dries.
I’ve been thinking about it too. I’m not sure I should use my abrasive scrubbing brush but I guess we’ll see, may need to touch up the clear enamel layer after time or perhaps it will fair well. I have not seen anyone I follow complaining about theirs chipping.
No worries, our cats are not allowed to roam free especially when we travel. They will always be on a leash and only leave the bus when it is safe for them to do so. They will be well cared for.
who need bathtub ????? i not has see anybody have last 57 year my life anywere. all have good shower and not need more, if want go to swim go to somewere lake.
