The reason some people do it is to make the songs fit the character or to cut out bad words Look at flowey for example and his song he only becomes evil at the very end if you are only gonna be letting him sing at a certain that isn’t the end then unless asriel turns into flowey it doesn’t make sense for his character to not show his evil side
