I remember this cereal. I always thought it tasted more like Cap'n Crunch. Used to get the Nintendo and Turtles cereals too. Man, you were NO ONE back then unless you had your own cereal. Good times.
Wtf RU-vid?! I've been subscribed to the this dude since the beginning of time and it never popped up in my videos for at least the last 5 years. Dude, he looks so much younger than I remember. Way to go.
Love that call back to the breakfast cereal rants from back in the day. “Face it, breakfast is ruined.” I used to reference that all the time back in the day. Great video Chris!
Dont be afraid to post whatever you feel like! Your content is always top tier and enjoyable since you always hit with the nostalgia! Keep up the great work Chris
That was a neat little video. It’s kinda funny that so many movies or shows got cereal back then! I loved the ending to this video where you are Batman. It was awesome and super hilarious😂👍🏻
@@リンゴ酢-b8g Along with Irate Gamer, Nostalgia Critic was one of the first reviewers to start the genre way back in 2007. While the former focuses on video games, the latter rather reviews movies. He was quite big, he even had a crossover with the AVGN (2008) way before than Irate Gamer did (2020). So you're quite unique for knowing Irate Gamer and not the Nostalgia Critic. Oh, and The Wall just happens to be the Nostalgia Critic's most infamous review, it was received with a lot of criticism. I just happened to mention it due to my helplessly memetic nature, sorry 😅
Wow, awesome review to the Cereal man that was awesome I really wish I ate cereal back when I came out but I wasn’t born that year. Sadly I really can’t wait to see the flash movie. I hope it’s really good buy the way someday Irate gamer can you make a Updated masters of the universe video someday?
Ralston was mostly making licensed brand cereals throughout the 1980s, there was also a new Batman cereal made by General Mills that came out some years ago!
Yeah, I remember hearing about this cereal as well. I think they also used to come with a "Batman" bank that wasn't in the box, but outside it. Funny, Ralston would do the same thing with 1991's "The Addams Family", promoting a cereal and having a flashlight on the outside instead of being in the box.
I love the dose of nostalgia from this channel. Awesome video man. Nicely done :) I bet it was a lot of fun dressing up and making your own Batman cereal commercial there at the end!
i barely clipped the 80s so i didnt get to experience these themed cereals as i was too little. i wish i could have had them. i will say this i do have a sealed nintendo cereal. once i found out about it in 2008 i grabed one and it still sits on my shelf :P
I remember this cereal. I remember the Batman 89 tortilla chips even more. They were awful, but I loved them for the Batman shape. We kept a bag of Batman '89 chips in our pantry for years and they were stale as heck, but it was cool because they were Batman shaped.
I remember when I bought that cereal they had a chance to order three Vintage DC comic books that were smaller than normal comic books and about Batman's origins it was awesome bat Mania everywhere
I remember that cereal. I thought it was okay, but nowhere near as good as the TMNT cereal with marshmallows. Still, the box art was cool and it made me want to see the movie badly. Unfortunately, my mom said 'no' because it was PG-13 and I was a little kid at the time. Ah well. Great review, Chris!
Thanks! Please think about doing a review of the immortal on sega Genesis for halloween…. I know avgn already did a review a while ago. But would love to see little Joey play this one 😂 🤣
