Great job man. You're right. It wasn't just a movie release. It was a cultural event. The hype, the anticipation... I don't think there will ever be a movie release like this again in my life. That's what makes this movie special. How revolutionary it was. We never saw a movie that looked like this before. Batmania. That logo was everywhere and it's cool to look at things from 1989 and see it pop up. I also remember the audience's reaction when the Batmobile first appears. Seeing this at the theater is one of my fondest childhood memories. 🦇
Completely agree. So much hype for the film before release but it absolutely delivered. Saw it the Saturday night the weekend it opened and the cinema was packed. Whole audience applauded and cheered at the end. Havnt seen that in a while ( People just look at their phones 🙄).
@@brendangkelleher2669 you're right! There's only a few movies I've seen in my life where the audience clapped and cheered at the end. This, Bad Boys 1, and Rush Hour 2. I remember as the camera panned up the building, the audience clapped and cheered until the screen went black before the credits started.
