The reason why is that they are both investigators who can read each other on the same level and have experienced the same pains Barry may joke but he is hurt and is broken on the inside whilst batman shows it on his sleeve
@taylorhewson8995 that's an interesting outlook. They both possess a similar view on the world while being the antithesis to one another. Barry more lighthearted and forgiving while Bruce is more brooding and vengeful. They balance each other out without having to sacrifice their outlooks. That's probably why they get on so well.
Dick Grayson is Batman's greatest contribution to the world. Basically a blend of Batman's training, talent, dedication and detective skills and Superman's goody-two-shoes nature.
@@TheWerttyFiles Nightwing is a legend from Krypton. It's after Batman relieved Dick of being robin after he went solo and almost died from two face. Superman then consoled Dick and told him about "Nightwing" the krypton vigilante myth.
@@meurumtrain4747it helps that the flash in most iterations remembers everything that happens even after going back in time too, so he knows these people on such a wide scale
Yea, and in some of the comics, at least Batman forgives himself for his parents' death over time because Dick showed him it's okay to feel sad, but to blame himself is just not okay when it's not your fault
Thing is that this is barry allen, he is 10 times more serious than wally west flash is, animated seriezes almost always use wally cause he is more comedic, barry is not only more mature, smarter, serious but also csi
@@brandonwagner5819 He is when they want to make him popular. He's been a knock off of Wally Flash who's smarter MADE EVERYONE THE FLASH made the speed force etc etc since they brought him back from the dead. And he's just not selling as well as Wally to anyone.
This reminded me of the Lego Batman movie. Dick: Hello Mr Wayne my name is Richard Grayson but everyone at the orphanage calls me Dick Bruce: kids can be cruel

@@user-ql9ls3xb7d I hope he does to but I’m thinking he might not just as it’s the end of this universe (because sadly it’s ending way to early) and I don’t think they want to set up any potential story’s like batman and robin
I think he seems a lot more closed off in Crisis to the idea plus I’d also don’t think Dick would be happy with Bruce after passing up on him then being indecisive
The idea of Wally being Dick’s first friend is amazingly wholesome. The kid made Ultra Humanite feel the Christmas spirit. Perfect person to cheer up a kid that lost his parents.
Was confused for a moment, but you're talking about JLA Flash where the flash is Wally with Barry's back story (kind of, they never really state it in the show, but Wally being in the JLA before Barry was always confusing to me cuz I knew they were related somehow and Wally being a lot younger lol)
@murris5591 yeah, but that could be on Iris side as well. The thing is JL and JLU took all the best part about the flash and came up with a hybrid of Barry and Wally. In the comics or other storyline, Wally is a always a mechanic and Barry a forensic scientist. Regardless, this version on the flash will always be my fav

Barry just created a father/son relationship for Bruce and helped create the origins of the teen titans all in one conversation. Barry has always been the best flash and the glue guy for the justice league .
And I hate it. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great scene, but Bruce came to be a father through his own experience losing his own parents, and with guidance from Alfred. This moment l, or rather the realization that he should be a father figure was brewed up at Wayne Manor, not the Allen residence. It takes away from Bruce’s development if you ask me. Now all credit goes to Barry.
And Dick and Wally became best friends. Dick was even Wally's best man at his wedding. And it's funny how Dick becomes much more of a leader than anyone can imagine. Dick is also more respected throughout the heroes community than Bruce. @@Sen.100
Movie name: Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part One (2024). I wish people would leave movie names in the description. You're welcome boys.
Even though i kind of like Damien and his growth of character, i cant help but feel Dick was more like a real son to Bruce, something of a kindred spirit.
Well damian didn’t need his father he needed Batman dick needed a father and Batman helped too Tim needed Batman Jason needed Bruce and other robins do the same some have growth as a hero while others as people
Honestly Dick Jason and Tim feels more like Bruce's son than Damian that's what makes them special and that's what makes Dick Grayson the most special because of him being Bruce's first son and knowing him and helping him grow
Eh think that depends on how you see what a "real" son is. Dick is a chip off the ole block but emotionally more developed. Damian is the exact same as Batman. Cold, calculating with no real haste to form close connections that don't further the goals they have. They also switch once they grow Dick being somebody who hates being behind the cowl and wants to be doing his own thing while Damian prepares himself for inheriting the cowl and feels like he can jump into it already.
I wish we had more scenes of Barry, Bruce, Diana and Clark like this, I obviously love their superhero lives but this stuff just shows how much we can relate to their struggle of just trying to be a better person from the previous day
That’s why I feel like DC is more relatable then marvel characters, they display real human emotions and real life situations any average person can relate to
@@Creatureswavehuh? He clearly says that he WISHES which implies that there are not many scenes like this in DC. Marvel has a ton more relatable stuff starting with power scaling
Jason: You gonna go to social services cause I’ll just bail out of the car Batman’s 🧠: Jesus that kid flicked a cigarette at my eye and swung tire iron at me without hesitation in the face of what could be a demon that’s definitely why
Barry suggesting Bruce should adopt Dick is amazing character writing here. Flash is always the emotionally mature one. He’s goofy happy go lucky, but he knows when to turn up support mode.
Barry isn't the goofy one though he does have a sense of humor and will Crack a joke from time to time the goofy thing is more wally west's lane that including arrogance. Side from that I definitely agree with you. All that took on the mantle of the flash are very compassionate and emotionally mature except for bart which is why he was killed off. Fans hated him as the flash.
@@theblessedone.6251Will also say it’s unfortunate what happened to Bart with his run. He had loads of potential but got royally screwed, by DC’s handling of everything As is usually the case with DC unfortunately
You know. Everyone writes him off as being an idiot. But when the flash speaks , he doesn't speak as a hero he speaks as A normal person like anyone else right from the heart
Typically it’s Wally that’s presented more as an idiot, especially in the JL cartoon. Barry is actually considered extremely smart by other heroes, Batman especially.
Barry is such a special character in DC. One of the best superheroes ever I might add. I think we all have daydreamed of having the Flash's power at least once when we were kids.
I love that Barry is always a beacon of humanity. Hell even his evil version with the crime syndicate still had a touch of compassion for a mass murderer
This is a great retcon for why Bruce decides to take him in and have him be a part of the cause, he did so on the counsel of a close friend. No less reckless but explains the motivation.
It's kinda interesting that Barry is telling Bruce to raise him knowing that he'll turn into Robin, Nightwing. Flash remembers every flashpoint event, or at least every recent flashpoint.
This is an uncommon realization for fans of the flash. The burdens that he carries are so great that it's a miracle he hasn't lost his way. Barry truly is the best of us.
@@Starman1192alfred isn’t just a servant though, and in the comics dick was raised by both bruce and alfred. dick gets a lot of his good attributes from alfred raising him the way he did. alfred is the one who raised bruce and alfred doesn’t even need to be his servant, sure he gets paid, but he’s fairly rich himself and sticks around because he cares for them. you’re vastly oversimplifying it to “but he’s just a servant” when it goes way deeper than that.
I love that Bruce went to Barry for advice. Hes always been the heart of the league. He remains grounded in common reality despite moving faster than it. I think thats why Batman puts so much trust in him and why he was so disappointed in him in the Injustice timeline
The one time Bruce goes to Barry to get advice for a Robin, that same Robin grows up to be the best one in maturity and compassion in and out of the field

I think he more means having Dick there would help Bruce get perspective on what hes doing and more importantly why hes doing it, not so much, making a Robin
@@bridgecrewdave It would help keep Bruce grounded like Clark and Barry's civilian lives do. Plus Batman only made Dick Robin so he could guide and supervise him which he didn't have when he started. DC did a oneshot on how Dick would've turned out without Bruce and Batman. Spoilers it wasn't pretty.
I like the detail that while everyone's eyebrows look similar, Bruce's are always held in a way that reminds me of a very faint bat symbol, or batterang.
Barry was always the most down to earth superhero of the justice league, man i love Batman, but the kind heart and humanity of Barry its simply the best
I honestly love this new DC animated universe, it feels like they are making and telling the stories they want to tell not the stories that higher ups want.
Wally West, there are two in the comics the og redhead and the newer black one which received a lot of backlash when he was introduced to the point where they bs something something speed force to bring the og Wally back sadly most of the media nowadays associates Wally as black (to which I'll refer as Wallace for the rest of the comment) the og redhead Wally only appears in jl unlimited and young justice while Wallace has been the live action "the flash" show the warverse (dcamu or the new 52 animated universe) and in this movie and due to most people only consuming the live action Wallace has become more known than Wally outside of comic book fans and people who watched jl unlimited and/or young justice. Also, I do know this is a joke on the name of the character in the movie being the same as one of the rivals in the hoenn games. Tdlr: justice for redhead Wally and not r/woosh because I know that this was meant to be a joke
Why not smash Bros playing against himself. Wally West kid manipulate his molecules between atoms at a young age I'm pretty sure he can play a video game by himself and a more competitive one than just pokémon Jesus Christ what are you five😂
@Tomy_Lightning nobody does that anymore bud. Black Wally is referred to as Wallace now. OG Wally West has been back since 2016 and is the current Flash
@@KingShibe did you even read the comment because the only people who know redhead Wally are comic fans and people who've seen jl unlimited and/or young justice.
The flash is honestly becoming my favorite superhero over time because damn the emotional story beats are nice. And the scene from the other animated show where he "interrogates" the trickster is just gold. Its really important for heros to not just solve things with violence, having them essentially therapy a criminal into surrendering can be a powerful message.
Still love the young justice example of this. “You indoctrinated robin into crime fighting at the ripe old age of nine.” “He needed to face his killers and bring them to justice.” “So he could turn out like you?” “So that he wouldn’t.”
Barry giving Bruce advice about how to live a happy life is the most flash thing I’ve seen. This is now my head cannon in all multiverse. Bruce was going to leave Dick and Barry showed him a heart
Barry, next to Superman, is probably Bruce’s best friend. So I guess his best human friend.. someone he really respects his work and how he carries himself. Idk if this is cannon but him telling him to adopt the kid, is prolly the reason Grayson ends up being Robin more than anything else
I love this. Bruce is apprehensive, he’s every person who’d ever hear, “Batman adopted a kid,” it’s an immediate hell no, he’s probably gonna hand pick a family for the boy. He’s pessimistic, as you’d expect a Batman to be. Flash sees that Batman could do it, that even if it’s not gonna be a sidekick, Bruce being a father could still benefit him even if it’s not directly as Batman. He’s optimistic, how every Flash should be.
I think one of the things i can relate to with the flash is his overwhelming amount of empathy like he truly has been through most of what superheroes and regular people have been through and more. He understands Bruce enough to try to persuade him with the "mission" because he knows bruce puts his crusade above all else. He's been an orphan he knows what would be good for not just Dick but Bruce. Batman and the flash truly make some Dc story lines just so much more grounded and relatable. the world or the multiverse are always about to be destroyed so the more down to the street, balancing the already hard life of a hero with everyday problems makes for some pretty powerful moments
I love Barry's freindly and calm personality. It reminds me of his early silver age days where he'd stop running to help a little girl pick up her ring that she dropped in a street grate. He was always so caring as he was funny.
People who criticize things really read the comics or know the whole story. Did you see something that's odd, And criticize it. For most people Robin is a goofy kid in short shorts.
I really like the idea of the spiritual equivalent of Spider-Man for the DC universe being the one to convince Bruce to make one of the best choices he'll ever make for both Bruce and Batman.
This is what I love about Bruce adopting Dick. Both have been in the same situation of losing their parents. Bruce knows the trauma that can cause, and even though Dick would still become a crime fighter, Bruce wants to guide him so he can be better than himself and the Batman.
