This really ignited the imagination! From the sound effects to the incredible voice-overs you guys keep lifting the bar. I know the vid is 5 years old, but wow. I hope this keeps on in the future. Batman's voice was the tip of this iceberg of talent. You keep it up - this is the go-to channel for motion comics.
The ending struck me, I always thought that Bruce's rule not to kill was only for himself but how he explained how he swore on his parents souls that he wouldn't kill and how killing bankrupt the soul of society made me have a new appreciation for Batman and superheroes in general
The reason that hero don't kill the villain because they know they are example, rolemodels that people of all ages look up to them so they have to be the best version of themselves to bring the best out of others. Not just regular people but the villains as well
Man, that was intense. I found it a lot more interesting than other stories because it explored the dynamic between Damian and Bruce as father and son. This was such a nice overall viewing experience- voice acting, music, sound effects. Thanks for sharing this.
This was really good. It's also interesting to see where the Talon teaching Damien to embrace his darker form of justice originated from in the comics. I've watched several of these recently, and I think this may be my favorite Robin VA, but I always liked Damien as well. It's really fascinating to see the obvious channel growth from this video to more recent ones that are fully voiced, even minor characters.
Loved the casting choice for this - Everything is so well done but you, mate! One of the best Batman stories ever written! Nice strike to the Glabella at 50:46.
Really dope stuff, I appreciate the work you put into this video. The supporting characters' A.I. voices kinda killed the atmosphere a little here and there, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Looking into more of your content daily!

I don't get people who keep trying to make batman kill, It is like complain someone isn't doing enough while also not criticizing other people who don't even try. It is against his moral code and you don't have a right to make him damn his soul because it is what you would do. It always comes off as some weird self-validation, like they like someone like batman exists after they have amassed a huge body count for "Greater good'" Also, I never would have suspected this quality of content from your name I was expecting some podcast thing XD Nice Work though!
@@Seek1878 How so? If he works with them consistently like one of his robins it makes sense he would want them to live up to his standard. Villain wise well Murder is still illegal?
@@MaryJayProductions I'm not talking about the robins. Dangerous criminals are put to death all the time, whether it be in shootouts or self defense kills. In real life most villains in the Batman universe would have been put to death or been shot up by Seal Team 6.
@@Seek1878 I mean yeah ? I do think there is a justice way if killing your enemies but I dont think this villain embodies it. Batman is a also a paragon of heroism. In an Ideal wolrd heros wouldn't let anyone die. Also if Batman villains here treated realistly the wouldn't have a rogues gallery. So on the meta level the villains can't die or there would be no more stories. Beside, by batman's highest ideal the villains would reform themselves. "Anyone can be a hero" and "No one has to die" are kinda ruled the hero mythos is build on. You take them away and their worlds fall apart. I do fall on the pragmatic side of you can kill without it being murder and sometimes you keep to kill to prevent greater tragity. Am I making sense ?
@@MaryJayProductions I know, I realize a lot of the no killing is to keep villain rosters full, but honestly it gets aggravating sometimes. But we also have characters like Red Hood (and even Damian) who have killed and are still intact morally and rational.
This is one of the best Batman audiobooks I've ever heard!!! No this is one of the best Batman stories ever written. They totally humanized him😱🔥💯👍 I'd like my own personal copy of this on DVD over any DC animated film with the exception of "The Dark Knight Returns"
I loved this arc especially it themes of “the sins of the father” but most importantly our parents unwillingness to admit to us that they are human just like everyone out. Falliable prone to mistakes and moments of weakness and that’s okay.
Bro ever since they introduced damien I've thought he was the best side kick batman can have ....I havent read any comics since the introduction of batman inc but this was awesome
This is the fourth video of your work that I watch. Love the editing, love which stories you pick and the music. And I looove the voice acting. Until I heard what was supposed to be a french accent ^^
This is good writing but Robin's dialog is read a bit too slow where the female sounds exactly like she's reading from a script holding her breath between every sentence. She should talk more quicker, natural with emphasis on different individual emotions such as Damian's anger,sarcasm, pain, rage...excetera.
I give it a 98 because Robin was pretty feminine. Did you bring down the pitch of the voice actor? I would've brought it down lower, his fathers voice is pretty deep... Prettttyyy effin good work though over all.

SO RAZ AZ GUL DAUGHTER DID THE NASTY WITH THE BATSY,THEN AT AGE 10 BAT FOUND OUT WHEN THE DAUGHTER INTRODUCED THEM,DAMIAN KNEW OF BATMAN BUT NOT VICE VERSA..BATMAN ALSO HAS A DAUGHTER FROM THE SAME CHICK BUT SHES A MESH FROM DNA
Alfred, Batman, and Damian were perfect voice actors. The villains (Morgan and his dad) were way too flat, sounded they were just reading, no emotion very monotone. Other than that, loved it. Stumbled on your page last week, I'm hooked now. Saw Venom, Supergod, and a few others. Keep them coming. Thanks for the awesome experience fellas.
Using the auto-generated voice really lowers the quality compared to how great the rest of the project is. I feel the points where you have a camera looking at the screen and twisting around are also a weak link in what is otherwise a wonderful presentation.
LOOOVE THIS! been a Batman fan since I was 2 years old in the 70s (no kidding! It's true...) The voice acting was SUPERB! Although I expected Damian was more *GRIM* and flat. I don't mind the femalish voice as a 10 year old and all. But snapping and sounding a bit dark sounds more like a brave boy who doesn't give a damn that won't show his real feelings unless he wants to...I know I was like that when I was 10...heheh...The Batman really got to me. But, in all honesty, I'm more of a Damian,...coz' I know I won't hesitate when the time must come for me to do what he did. I actually felt relieved watching what he did...with a smile on my face and cheering, ''You go Damian boy! You did the right thing for your father's sake!''
