I think what was magical about it was that it was the first one, and so it gave us a really rich atmosphere that hinted at such a wider universe of Batman while retaining us to a small place. The vibe of it was creepy, eerie, but somewhat peaceful. It's still my favourite Batman game and I always play it.
this is oddly so nice to fall asleep to, games like these are more than just games, they’re a feeling, whether it’s nostalgia, adrenaline sweating, or an awe for the art and aesthetic. we have so much to thank to the creators of legendary memorable games like these. thanks for this wonderful ambience
May I ask what platform do you use to read comics? I want to get into reading comics (Batman, DC in general, Marvel, etc.) as well but don't know where to start
Yeah, nothing better than reading A Serious House on a Serious Earth on a good ol' Insane Asylum. It's always nice to return to my sweet little *ha ha-cienda*
@@zaynassi4751 I don't recall exactly but I seem to remember it was when you had to track down officer Boles' alcohol trail and then a phone would ring by one of the reception desks
“This is Arkham Asylum. How can I help you? Caller: “Hello, I’ve been trying to reach my husband, Steve. But he hasn’t answered my calls.” “I’ll see if I can find him. Just hold on one moment.” Caller: “Oh thank you so much.” “I’m sorry, I look everywhere for him…. I can only find his head. I’ll call back when I find the rest of him!” *HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!*
