Batman: Arkham City - Predator Challenge 11 (Lost City EXTREME) -  

I fucking hate this level. I've hit at least 50 guys with a turbo charged batarang when they look down over the edges and they just fucking bang against the railing. Pissing me off so fucking much

if you get lucky when knocking someone off the edge with the remote batarang, you can keep throwing more remotes and knock the nearby guys off as well when they investigate. i managed to knock out 3 guys this way

wow.. after a while these challenges rlly start to become annoying and even boring.. seriously

That smoke bomb thing makes me wonder... It is only allowed to be used once. In story, after cleaning a room it recharges, but NOT during predator challenges, and the difficulty level does not affect challenge mode.

How the heck did he get so many smoke pellets?

@ZLProductionz Regardless whether I use the emergency Smoke Pellet or the throwing one, it didn't matter. They all can only be used once.

That remote batarang medal is the hardest others aren't much of a trouble.

It's a lot easier to get the high speed impact medal on a guard walking up the stairs. Just sayin :P

GUYS! I know a cheap way to do this challenge, Follow this guide until 1:10 and stay in that location. While up there, keep throwing remote controlled batarangs to knock each one of the henchmen over the edge. Keep throwing the remote batarangs until you take out every single henchmen. Hope this helps.

@KiickrOcksz When your on Normal or Hard smoke pellets dont recharge you get 1 and 1 only.

@PowerPyx It seems that a lot of players are experiencing a glitch where the Smoke Pellets are one-time use only. You can only use them once in a Predator challenge and they will never recharge. Which version of the game are you playing?

Hah, I was super cheap and pushed most of the enemies over a ledge with the boosted rmc batarang. :D

Now that on normal or hard.... Your very good, I don't think your not, but using "infinite" smoke pallets, it's kinde lame... your vid helped me, but only half of it, cause in normal there are more enemies, And I can't use the smoke all the time, so if you could upload on normal, that would be a lot better

@MrPerfect2000Z Not really, just how fast you can escape. If you get shot at once, even by a shotgun, but drop a smoke pellet and beat it out of there you're fine. If you get caught with your pants down in the open without smoke bombs you're dead

@randomname485 If you unlocked the Challenges from Easy story mode, then you have unlimited Smoke. Beat story on normal or hard, you get one pellet.

I have a doubt because your smoke bomb reloads fast? not my load so fast because its faster reloads as you wear it already because it recharges then?

My smoke pellets won't recharge. I know it has 2 b set to easy but how do u do it?

Stop crying about smoke pellets. I don't have infinite, and I can beat the challenges without using any. Be creative. You can use your disruptor on two guards which will prevent them from shooting you. You can explode your sonic batarang and kill a guard, and then remote batarang the guard who investigates it, knocking him off the ledge. Then freeze the guy close enough to you from the hiding spot in the video. No problem.

I got all 3 medals but it took me like 5 min. just do what he did with the line launcher. afterwards what I did was hide at the spot u start of with then just keep using batclaw to pull people of the rail in that spot and u are unlikely to get spotted. As the numbers go down u are much safer to go out and do slient takedowns. on the last guy I just waited till he was looking over the edge then shot the remote baterrang. didn't need to use smoke pellat.

For the batarangs, aim a little low, then pull up at the last second. They seem to jump higher that way. I actually cleared out 6 guys using batarangs.

@PowerPyx , i completed all of the combat challenges with 3 medals...the predators are piece of cake...now, the reason im bothering you: will you make videos for the campaigns...i dont even know what they actually are and scared to face those combat challenges again...i can do them again though, but its just that i think i need to get 3 medals in all 3 challenges right?...and with those modes...PLS MAKE CAMPAIGN GUIDES :)

i just trying to get the platinum trophy and... i'm amolts there but these challenges and the riddler trophies make me think: would I quit? because i see PowerPix doing the challenge like the story mode in dificulty EASY, and i can't do the same --', but.. almost there.. just 2 more challenges and ALL CAMPAING challenges....

i did this using just remote controlled batarangs at the same spot he throws it the entire challenge took me about 10 min but if your just in it for the medals like me and dont have infinite smoke pellets then consider trying my method :P

EVERYONE, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO NE ON EASY FOR RECHARGEABLE SMOKE PELLETS. THE ONLY REASON HIS ARE RECHARGING IS HE THREW THEM ON THE GROUND. no but really if you throw themvm by not pressing triangle then thell recharge

whats the point of doins all these guides?, unusuable for most of people... coz were playing the game on normal-hard and obviusly we dont have infinite smoke pellets, its rubbish mate...

I was so afraid to play this challenge because of the difficulty of it. However, it took me only 10 minutes to beat it LOL

@frozenman0207 u have to be on easy to recharge ur smoke pelletZ

@MegaBondagemon Glitch my arse. I can only use one smoke pellet in all predator instances. Same thing with the disruptor, two uses and that's that.

Just got this level in 1:57, currenty ranked 9th :D, and thats while using only 1 smoke.

Not the most elegant solution in the world, but i just sat in the alcove knocking 7 guys over the ledge, then disable the last 2's guns :)

Seems like you get infinite smoke pellets if you beat the game on Easy. If it's on Normal or Hard, you only get to use them once.

i toke them all out by using invertrted take down thing ... needless to say all my vantage points had a guy hangind from them ;)

@klammed Meh, dunno whats the point, still got the medals and it contributes to an achievement no matter what time I get lol

Most of the time while facing armored inmates i shoot themm with the rec gadget and watch fly over the railing.

Well as you can see that obvious reason doesn't work with his game so this is why I asked my question.

stand where you begin and pull all the guards below you over the railings with the batclaw, sooo easy :)

Smoke bombs and the disruptor don't recharge in predator challenges. For somewhat obvious reasons.

@PowerPyx - he means, that we play on Normal or Hard, not Easy, so we only have one smoke pellet per challenge...

@GhostRyder1172 At the time I posted that message, me and a lot of players were in the dark about how some players are able to recharge their Smoke Pellets in the middle of the challenge.

collect riddler trophies and solve some puzzles,i dont know which ones though

Yes it recharges... at first it recharges slowly, but I suppose maybe later in the game is faster. I can't say :/

extreme is there for every map, the difficulties are easy normal and hard

the knock over dude with batarang is just stupid on rocksteady's part.

Great videos, but unusable for most of us as we don't have infinite smoke pellets. A real shame.

They recharge because he is using a custom match, not a ranked match.

@miamariopizza I'm noticing that only happens certain times for me.

20 min to finally get it xD the batarang is the hardest medall but hide in the spawn area works for me

@dan84911 christ I did them with one smoke pellet. Just get the challenges done and take them down other ways.

@dan84911 You totally have a point. However, some parts of these guides have been useful for me. I have to make up for the lack of recharging Smoke Pellets by doing other stuff (such as running away like mad).

@PowerPyx I started playing on the Hard mode. Could you check if the Smoke Pellet doesn't recharge for you on Hard mode?

@MrPerfect2000Z You can take damage to the upgraded health bar just not to the default health.

The smoke pellets are unlimited they just have to recharge...

@MegaBondagemon Yes, now I know it's because of the day one update/patch. Elsewhere I thought it sucked but when thinking about it, having unlimited pellets and disruptor would break all predator maps.

@PowerPyx I think like has now been said, it's cause you were playing on easy, hence they recharge. Just to clarify, I think the vids are very well done, just a couple of them won't help most people due to them playing on normal or above.

If you play the game on easy you should get infinite amount of smoke pellets but on Normal & Hard you get one during predator maps.

Its easier to use the baterang on an enemy on top of the steps try ice blast then the remote baterang

There is no challenge for anything when you play easy.

this one took me 13:53 min because I did'nt have the infinite smoke pellet

i take that back. :)) if you use it while they are on the stairs it's easy to take them over the edge

@MegaBondagemon It's not a glitch. In the predator challenge maps, your gadgets don't recharge. So smoke pellets are one time use, and the disruptor has only two uses. But on EASY mode they recharge.

a reliable way to get the "remote batarang someone over a ledge" is to wait until someone comes up a set of stairs, throw the batarang so it gets them as they reach the top and with any luck it should send them flying backwards over the diagonal rail. certainly the most reliable way i found to do it :)

I gotta spend more time on this game. Never thought about combining the use of ice and smoke.
