Batman Arkham Knight: DLC Batman Beyond Skin and LORE

the batman beyond skin makes you realise how vicious batman has become. without the cape getting in the way every move seems more powerful to look at. I love it.

This is a version of the batman beyond suit meant to fit with the arkham series I think

I like the mouth cover. It can be bulletproof and allow for things like underwater or space travel depending on the mods on the suit. It can also be used as a bulletproof piece for his face. The power suit makes more sense, especially the militaristic style with the moving symbol plates. It's a beautiful suit, I wish more people saw it the same way.

I think this skin is the Batsuit that Batman (Bruce Wayne) uses in the final cutscene with the two thugs and rich family in the 100% ending. Think about it, Bruce Wayne did use the Beyond batsuit for a while before giving it to Terry, so it makes sense for Bruce to use it post-AK even though the Beyond suit is more commonly associated with Terry. I imagine the AK version of the Beyond suit is so drastically different than the traditional Beyond suit in order to make it more functionally aligned with the new tactics of the post-AK Batman, such as using fear gas, jetpack capable boots, and a fully enclosed helmet to filter out fear gas exposure and to alter/mask Batman's voice like Jason Todd's helmet did. Batman did acquire the voice modulator from one of the militia, so it is plausible that Batman would use that technology in his new batsuit to make his voice sound scarier, plus he can't sound like Batman did before otherwise thugs would know its still Bruce Wayne just with a new suit. The new suit also hides all of Bruce's skin so now enemies really won't know if the new Bat is human or not. I also imagine the new batsuit uses a lot more smoke that is integrated directly into the suit instead of just using smoke pellets, in order to further confuse and intimidate thugs. And finally, the red bat symbol on the chest and red eyes of the Beyond suit match the Knightmare batman hallucination image.

The thing I loved about Batman (Terry ) is that through the series you see him grown and become a better Batman

My favorite line from the 1st episode of batman beyond is when the head joker gang member says "who do you think you're talking to old man, we're the joker's" and Bruce just says "sure you are" and gives a sparky smile.

I think its worth noting Terry doesn't go too far out of his way to save bad guys when they are in fatal situations. Sure he does do it here and there. But he doesn't lose sleep when bad things happen to bad people.

I love this costume. I'd still like to see a suit closer to the original but as a standalone costume it's fantastic, I've played through the story an extra four times in this suit just because I love seeing it in action so much.

I think that the devs were trying to go for a more realistic design, much like they did when creating the other batsuits. In the Batman Beyond animated series, the cowl Terry wears is full face, instead of the half face Bruce uses. However, they added the white mouth, so you know when Terry is talking, and to make it easier to animate his emotions through facial expression. For Arkham City, they use a skin that resembles the series greatly, but it looks "off", because there is no real explanation for the white mouth. So they made a more detailed design for Arkham Knight, to add to the more gritty, realistic approach they were going for.

Spider-man: With great power comes great responsibility. Batman: With alot of money comes alot of f*cking amazing suits.

This outfit makes batman look like he's a terminator lmao but the whole glowing in the dark thing doesn't seem practical to his stealth abilities it's more of somthing you'd wear to look badass

There are two theories that I always liked. #1: After Gordon retires from being Commissioner. Bullock steps in, servers all ties to Batman and actually cleans up crime in Gotham. which is why there aren't that many Supervillains. #2: The McGinniss divorced because Terri and Matt don't look like Warren. And he accused Mary of having an affair. Which she of course denies because she didn't.

I had the entire batman beyond series when i was younger.I still have the return of the joker movie on vhs.

I find it fascinating that Andrea Beaumont was still the Phantasm at that point when Terry was 8 years old.

I know it isnt a popular design, but I personally love it. It has a Cyberpunk vibe to it, and it actually kinda fits the whole aesthetic in Arkham Knight, especially the more wealthy parts of Gotham where it looks a little more futuristic. Plus the tech Batman uses in the game almost entirely fit the whole "Batman Beyond futurism vibe." I like the one from Arkham City, but realistically it just looks kinda ridiculous. This one makes a Batman Beyond a little more believable. Plus it could also be an early prototype of the suit. Kind of a "Pre-Beyond" Suit.

actually Batman Beyond 2.0 and Justice League Beyond were doing a story that started in Justice League Beyond that involved something that was carried over from the Justice League Episode A Better World that involved a parallel was similar but different from the main universe but that Flash died and Superman killing President Lex Luther and the six heroes become the Justice Lords, so it does fit

Batman beyond can standalone in its own series and movies

Yeah, God the New 52 Titans were and still are crap. I read the Robin run, Young Justice, and New Teen Titans (the one with Tim, Cass, and Kon) runs when I was a teenager. It actually made me feel something, they confronted actual issues (FFS, one of them had AIDS!) The New 52 seems to be written and drawn by guys who's sole experience with teenagers is from Justin Beiber.

I'm still confused about this game's design version for the Batman Beyond skin. Is it comic-based? Or did they just think they were being cool?

I've been saying this for a while now,I love the batman with Pattinson but Hollywood missed the perfect opportunity for him to play a live action batman beyond! He is young enough looking for the role and they could have had Keaton play the role of old man Bruce. It would have been awesome in my opinion

The only issue I have with this skin is that there are times when you want to see Batman's eyes, and this suit doesn't allow that.

I think this version of the costume looks pretty awesome, like a high-tech counterpart to the Arkham Knight suit, just wished the head looked more like the original Batman Beyond Suit, but I guess the cowl is how it is so its easier to take off for those scenes where Batman removes his cowl?

Am I the only one who knows most of this stuff but just likes hearing someone else explain it. Like watching a review of a movie that you've already seen because you want to hear someone else's opinion and perspective on it.

I kinda like this one better than the arkham city one (the og suit design version) cause this one fits in with the arkhamverse better and looks like it would actually work as a batsuit (i.e looks like it could protect you) and dosent just look like a spandex suit (still like the og beyond suit tho, I just like this one better)

Batman Beyond was my childhood. This Bats was sane. Had a life, someone to go home to at the end of the day and a lot of his “detective” skills were based on experience and street smart. I actually looked up to Beyond, sure TAS Bats was cool but Beyond was more than that.

The Batman Beyond suit is the most realistic, it covers the mouth and it also has no large cape which would only make more trouble then it's worth.

Well, Batman Beyond volumes 3-5, and 2.0 are supposed to be retcon of the animated series. And they do stand as their spiritual sucesor, even if they are not "canon". They are also an overarching story (which has still a lot of loose ends by the ejd of 2.0). I'll take them any day instead of the New 52 series. It is very cool to see Terry reunite the Batfamily throughout these two series. In 2.0 we learn the reason Terry was angry at Bruce, and it was because he never told him that Joe Chill's grandson, now known as " The Vigilante", who helps Terry, Tim, Dick, and the new Catwoman to stop King Joker, the leader of the Jokerz (AND Dana's brother), was the man who pulled the trigger who killed his father. Fuled by guilt, he decided to be a hero like Batman. The Phantasm has a role in this, too.

I was angry when they added Gordon as Batman, not because he's not Bruce, but because almost every comic character in the bat-family got one! Even Tim as Batman Beyond!

I love batman beyond aka terry mcginiss so much because he is so awesome plus he is one of my all time favorite characters of all time next to tim drake pre 52 and plus arkham series tim drake is cool too but that's just my opinion

Kwing, it's not a ninja mask. It looks more like a translucent visor. In the Batman Beyond series, Terry's mouth moved when he spoke, even though it was covered. I believe Rocksteady chose the visor so that you can still see Bruce's mouth move even though it's under the mask

one odd thing about the batman beyond skin is that it does have a cape it's just transparent most of the time... you can see the cape by looking at batman's shadow.

This is definitely my favorite suit in Arkham Knight.
