+Gear of “crazy dave” Arkham Yup. Still an apt description, and we're 3 issues in (of 26). #4 comes out tomorrow. The USB in question shows up in the 8-page Sneak Peek and #1. It's contents are what's important, and they imply a lot of shit about Bruce, Dick, and others. Series has been pretty fun so far. Not amazing, but then again, I think I'm just spoiled by Grayson being so amazing every month. It's fun to see Dick and his brothers teasing each other, fun to see Steph fan girl over Grayson, and fun to see Dick as Robin in flashbacks.

+BRYAN GALINDO The best things from pre52 and new52 would create one big problem for me. From pre52 i consider Stephanie Brown the best Batgirl, and in new 52 i really like the idea of the Batgirl title being owned by one person only, and in the recent months, the relationship and character portrayal of Batgirl and Spoiler/Babs and Steph has improved so much with the new writing teams and artists like Babs Tarr and David Lafuente, that it would be pretty crappy to see that go. Looking at stuff like Batgirl #46's cover, it's starting to look like they're working up to Spoiler becoming Batgirl's partner, and than later this year the weekly book Batman & Robin Eternal will be introducing miss Cassandra Cain into the new universe. That, in a way is already making new52 look more like a bit of a hybrid continuity as you suggest, or at the very least shows that some people at DC, such as Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher, know that in bringing Babs back as Batgirl back in 2011, certain sacrifices were made, such as Stephanie's Batgirl, and Barbara's Oracle. If you've been reading Batgirl this year, you'll also have noticed that the current writing team, while presenting a much lighter and fun Batgirl comic, also incorporated a lot of elements from Barbara's abilities as Oracle back into canon such as her photographic memory and computer expertise. Plus, they've also introduced this new character, Frankie Charles, who essentially helps Barbara Gordon as Batgirl the way Oracle helped other heroes in the old continuity, and this is possible because of a brain algorithm Barbara Gordon made herself, and was reprogrammed by Frankie after the last arc. But yes... i get a little trippy on Batgirl stuff... What i'm still pretty upset about though, is that they randomly canceled Supergirl right before Convergence, right when the title was also starting to get better and better, and feel like an actual Supergirl comicbook. I'd like to order a retcon on daddy being Batman now. I mean seriously. I get that it's a new thing, but damn. Seeing your dad dress up as Batman when you yourself are Batgirl kinda feels like your dad is having a mid-life crisis. "Look at me Babs! I'm still cool! I'm still hip!" -Dad, please just take off the robo-bunny suit, smoke your pipe, and for god's sake, grow back your mustache!!
