I can see why those characters weren't available for the challenges, though. Robin's mechanics were basically all given to Deathstroke, having them both would be like Batman and Azrael in Arkham Knight. As for Joker, he's a big character, and the main promotion of the game was Deathstroke, also not to mention the lack of unique gadgets and combos he'd have.

The Arkham Channel Yeah maybe they could have given Joker his gadgets that he had in Asylum? The chattering teeth, spiral glasses etc. I understand why they didn't but fun to think about 'what if'

I'm sure they might have considered that.

@@TheArkhamChannel they put Bruce Wayne in the game and he suffers from the same issues u have stated, perhaps they should have given Robin as the first dlc character and taken Joker's Arkham Aslyum loadout plus a Jack in the box (Sonic Shock Batarang) and C4 (Explosive Gel), Joybuzzer (shock glove for one hand plus a slam ability) and a Cherry Bomb to distract enemies so he can traverse the map w/o a grapnel gun . Bruce Wayne should have had the blowpipe that Deathstroke had plus a flute-ish ability on it to distract enemies along with the Line Launcher and maybe a Cherry bomb as well, Deathstroke would need more time to develop bc of different animation and a bit of a different feel. His loadout could have an ACTUAL STUN GRENADE (not the smoke that we got) , proximity mine, remote claw, C4, and a signal jammer (celluar device that can either defuse a jammer or rig a PA box to spam nonsensical music drawing thugs in and then exploding). It's shit like this that could have made this game better than City, I've 100% completed the game and other than the story it lacks the nuance to other Arkham titles, and has with no real innovation/ambition and restricts the detective sequences bc it's heavily handheld

Scott Gaouette I know but he’s probably already done New game plus and when you do it automatically turns the counters off no matter if you go into normal game then the challenges , or just straight from the menu.

Evan Griffin The counter icons being turned off on challenge mode doesn’t have anything to do with New Game Plus. All you have to do is turn off the hints.

The Arkham Channel see I thought the same thing, but no joke after I did new game plus, and go into my normal difficulty game, then do the challenges, they are gone even with hints on

Hello, thanks! The “sliding punch” you mentioned also happens a lot in Arkham City primarily on hard difficulty. And the shock gun is a lot more useful in City than the concussion detonator is in Origins, indeed.

The Remote electric charger is very useful. Especially when there are enemies with stun batons as they can actually take their friends down when you reach a critical combo. It's also perfect for armored enemies since you basically turn them into bowling ball knocking them into multiple enemies down (I'm sure you know this) allowing you to perform a multi ground finisher as a follow-up.

I unlocked all of them plus after completeing The story, I have to do the thing where I had 3 challenges and I have to complete them to get more single combat maps

@@TheArkhamChannel then why didn't the combo break when he clearly did actions that should have clearly broke the combo? The game is designed to break the combo if you do the same thing twice. Yet it didn't break.
