I counted 63 punches to Joker's head in a span of about 75 seconds. I did some amateur boxing as a heavyweight. If I took 63 clean punches to the head in that time frame- even wearing headgear- I'd be dead. Joker is superhuman to an extent.

“Now that’s… Not. Funny!” The music swells in volume as Joker gives his speech making the scene even more epic and that, “We both exist because of them.” Probably the most tragic Joker line ever.

Joker: “I guess learning is a lot to ask from you... MEAT-FOR-BRAINS” Batman: *RAGE MODE ACTIVATED; smacks gun, kicks him into the wall, throws him into a window, gives him a MASSIVE beatdown, shakes him around, then FINALLY gives him a one-hit knockout punch* Lesson: Don’t name-call Batman ANYTHING

It's incredible how the Joker is so threatening Batmans sanity. The Joker's words are extremely accurate, psycholigical attacks and you can tell that they were not irrelevant to Batman when he interrupted him and yelled "You've lost! Give up!" He accused Batman of loving the rush of power beating someone up "in the name of justice" and triggered his surpressed hate for society by just calling them "they" and blaming them for creating the Joker as well as the Batman.

How does the joker within stand so many punches to the head

I love the delivery of "..It's what you NEED!" And how it's in accordance with the punch Batman hits Joker with

The way I see it, Joker got upset that Batman was siding with society over him. He considers all of humanity to be what pushed him into madness. You know the whole, being laughed at on stage, being manipulated into being red hood, thing. And Joker doesn't know Batman's parents were killed, but he knows something triggered Batman into being the way he is. And of course he blames humanity for it. So when he says "we exist because of THEM", I feel he is referring basically to humanity in general. Basically "why are you trying to save them/side with them when they're what damaged us?" Joker is misanthropic and hates human beings. Batman is the first person he was able to relate to and he was hoping Batman would be on his side rather than theirs. He wanted Batman to feel the same way about him as he felt for Batman. He feels rejected by the first person he ever could relate to and understand. He basically fell in love with Batman and is being rejected and it hurts him.

Honestly this had the most cool batman arkham ending. Knight was pretty cool too Edit: what I’m saying is this had the most cool ending, not the best. That goes to city.

Arkham Origins is my favorite of the franchise. I really love the story and it did The Joker the best. This scene is the best conclusion of the series. It shows EXACTLY the relationship between Batman and The Joker. Even though this came out after Asylum and City, this scene perfectly shows how their relationship progresses over the whole 4 game story

For as unfinished as this game felt to me, it had the most interesting Joker vibe of them all. This is a Joker who’s only just started- he hasn’t even melted all the way into insanity and he’s just gotten his first whiff of Bats’ no-killing policy. You can hear the disappointment in his voice when he finds out Bane’s still alive. Suddenly, Joker is faced with a dilemma, more personal than anything. He’s *angry.* All the way up until now, he’s gotten his kicks and giggles out of watching people die, and watching confident men break and succumb to their true intents. The fact that the man before him, a grown man in a bat costume heaving and grunting his way through his problems, hasn’t lost his way- hasn’t killed a soul, *infuriates* him. Every line and action the Joker makes in this scene is an attempt to push Batman to the edge. He still _wants_ to die, the only reason being, he hasn’t realized he’s just found his One And Only.

1:50 feels so satisfying after the hard trek in I Am The Night Mode.

This is surprisingly the only Arkham game that you get to beat down the Joker in the final boss. And even though not much people (but me) like this, we can all agree that it has real great things.

the joker tells batman to be honest.... he, the joker, understands batman. he understood it. he knows that Batman forces himself to be like this, that he actually wants to burn the world, and that he doesn't do it because of a set of rules he has created. he understands that he needs violence, look how close he comes to losing control, in the game he comes close to doing it, multiple times. the joker wants this, to show him the lie he is living, and thus to have one thing he desperately wants, a friend. his is a particular kind of love, he wants to "recover" Batman so much that he forces him to kill... because it is only the assassin who divides them.... he knows it ....
