Nice! I hope we see Magpie again, it's always nice to have more female villains. I'd like to see her depicted more like her original character to get her further from a Cat woman "clone". Maybe in the Arkham Origins sequel? Looking forward to next weeks villain! I love that you're giving some lesser known folks the acknowledgement they deserve!
The next animated Batman cartoon should set Tim as the main character. Think about it. With Tim as a central focus it would give kids a character to explore the batverse from a perspective they can relate with. Comic fans would love it for exploring modern Bat characters from the 90s onwards. (Nightwing and Oracle D: all fans want Nightwing and Oracle!) Having Tim central rather than Bruce gives writers the chance to make Bruce more powerful as a character since he doesn't have to be as humanized. Just like how assault on arkham made Bruce crazy unstoppable by shifting focus to the suicide squad. It would fit with the new trend of super hero shows based on young people, and offer a long coming of age arc to Tim giving it an ongoing plot.

Oh, I forgot to mention: The new Tally Man is based off of Garcian Smith from the cult-hit video game Killer7. They look identical. I only noticed it because Killer7 is one of my favorite video games.
Will say that in her cartoon version of the Magpie she is portrayed better than she ever did in the comic series, much more even and honestly.......feel a little bad about her in all honesty with her role in the Beware the Batman series, though we will admit she is portrayed far better than her comic would ever indicate. It made her much more relatable and possibly a yandere love interest for Batman as one sided as it was, poor little girl.
Great video. I too really thought BtB was going to be the new hit series that would reignite comic cartoons. I don't understand why CN hated the show and did everything they could to screw it over. The episode "Secrets" where Magpie made her first appearance was nominated for an Emmy. I loved BtB so much for using lesser known villains and really examining Batman as a character. Heck, I loved BtB more than season 4 of Batman TAS. I think if BtB was on CN several years ago when they were focusing on more action oriented cartoons than the show would have been a huge hit instead of now where CN shows mostly toons for little kids. BtB got fairly good ratings despite it's poor Saturday morning timeslot and the later 3 AM Toonami timeslot. Even the BtB comic got really good sales for being just a comic for little kids. CN just wanted this show to fail and did everything they could to make it so.

given what i saw of the Marvel Anime. Batman would go to Japan because.....reasons (They all go to Japan for some reason, though admittedly Wolverine it made sense.). And he would fight 'insert criminal organization here' (Except Iron Man, whose plot didn't make any sense given what i saw of the first episode.)
