"What? The Tumbler? Oh, you wouldn't be interested in that!" LOL! I just love that line for some reason! I think he knew right away what Bruce would think of it! Who wouldn't want to drive that vehicle?! ........ I know I do!
So their plan was to let big, armored vehicles with jet engines jump over a river with a rope and make a bridge from that? Seems like the most impractical idea ever, if not impossible
Maarten DJ well in combat its effective, it would let them traverse bad terrain better by doing so, would make it so you dont have to send men on foot through the river....though does explain why it stayed a prototype
Probably ridiculous to be talking about this 6/7 years later but the concept itself kinda makes sense. Instead of having to send say a slow and vulnerable bridge layer tank or an entire convoy of amphibious bridge trucks they instead just send a couple of Tumblers with two men each to rocket ahead and jump the gap while towing a bridge allowing them to set it up near instantly. This allows other units to quickly follow behind the tumblers while giving the enemy little time to respond(at least in comparison to contemporary bridging vehicles). Of course reality never likes these fantastical ideas as humanity obviously doesn't have the technology yet to create such things and I doubt we'd ever see such things once we have the technology.
Even better, I Saw The Tumbler during my visit to Warner Bros. Studios when I went through the Batmobile exhibit! Both models were there! The camouflage prototype one driven first by Bruce Wayne and Lucious Foxx. Then by Bane and his men, and the Black Batmobile One driven by Batman
@Curbie, I sure hope Warner Bros. uses this encode when they do a Boxset after Rises comes out.. We need to figure out a way to contact Warner home video to tell them we want the trilogy in true HD 1080p mp4 encode...
@ZaCHwII7 Actually this is a torrent I found just by typing: Batman begins 1080p mp4. As of now I don't have a Blu-ray drive, but I will purchase one in the future. I'll tell you about the process when I get to that stage :)
@@philspaghet next time don't be so full of yourself unless you get your fact right. The Vigilante appears as a 2-door custom car primarily based on the Batmobile created for the 1989 movie Batman (which was itself built on a stretched Chevrolet Impala chassis). However, the rear of the vehicle is based on another iteration of the Batmobile - specifically the "Tumbler" created for the 2005 film Batman Begins.
@ZaCHwII7 I don't like teasers since I've experienced famous youtubers making them better than the actual project, which is pretty unfortunate. But who knows maybe I'll change my mind. I'm very secretive about my projects, but yeah there are multiple movies involved....and that is all I have to say about that lol.
