To me the perfect Batman would be _Dark Knight's_ maturity and attention to detail, Battinson's Gotham city setting and production design, Burton's cartoonish-yet-deep character focus, and the animated series' morals and personality. Still waiting on a Batman movie that really nails every aspect

@@mattx449 If I'm not mistaken, our Indian Calypso is actually living in the UK ;) Although I have no idea of course if India has been her home country at some point in the past or that's just her family background. She recently wrote about having gone on holiday there though.

@@mattx449 The Dark Knight was actually a really big deal when it released back in India. It was literally all we talked about in school for months back in '08. Four years later when Rises was releasing it was extremely difficult to find tickets. I spent two years waiting for the movie prior to release and was stoked to watching it on opening day, got pretty lucky to find an available ticket with a few of my friends. Indian theatres are really loud and boisterous, so whenever a major plot event happens the crowds would be cheering so loud that you wouldn't be able to understand what's happening in the movie. Rises was full of moments like that. The Dark Knight and Inception made Nolan a namedropper in India, to be honest. So whenever we see a trailer with his name dropped, you could imagine the crowd's response. And those are just previews. It's kind of the same deal with big franchises like MCU, DCEU, and even prior to that it was Harry Potter that drew a lot of crowds to the theater if not the local Bollywood films. I would imagine everything I said about the crowds responding to The Dark Knight Rises can similarly be applied to Avengers Endgame, but I wasn't around for that one. TLDR, India's a bigger market than you'd expect.

When Lucius Fox was first introduced in the comics in the 1970s he was placed in charge of Wayne Enterprise's finances. This interpretation is a bit different, but cool. Also, in the comics, Ra's al Ghul and his daughter Talia) aren't introduced until DIck Grayson (Robin) is a freshman at Hudson University. There was a detective/bounty hunter named Ducard who Bruce Wayne studied under, but he wasn't connected to the League of Assassins. Making Ra's part of Batman's origin was an interesting decision! Yes, Arkham is an asylum for the criminally insane. Gotham City is also the home of Blackgate Penitentiary.

Unpopular opinion: Batman Begins is the best in the trillogy. The other movies are amazing, but they just drag on and on and on for so long. Batman Begins has way better pacing and is therefor makes for a much more pleasant viewing.

Your reactions are so funny lol and your gonna love the next 2 films for sure. I love all the symbolism they have in this movie about fear and how its used and why batman is so based in it and they took their time with most of the stuff with his backstory

No one can blame you for being unimpressed with the theatrical release of Justice League. (I'm sure it has its fans, but the vast majority of people consider it a bit of a travesty!) I've only watched your intro so far, but I'm assuming you liked the film, because I see you've just posted a reaction to The Dark Knight. Superb trilogy - now I need to watch this reaction quick, so I can move on to see what you thought of Heath Ledger's Joker!

I like Ben Affleck and Christian Bale about the same. Unfortunately, Ben Affleck's Batman is in much crappier movies. Ben Affleck is a _Dark Knight Returns_ version of Batman, while Christian Bale is more of a _Batman: Year One_ Batman. And of course, who doesn't love Adam West as Silver Age Batman?

Prepare yourself to see one of the best performances an actor has ever given in the next film. Some people speculate that Heath Ledger got so into his role that he went mildly crazy. He died shortly after his performance.

I bet you edit with headphones or ear buds. That makes you 2 or 3 times louder than the movie you are reviewing. Makes it very hard to watch. Try playing the review just as posted without headphones or ear buds. You will understand. Just a thought..........

I love this series, but u have to give the DCEU movies a shot which came out after the 3rd movie in this trilogy. Please please please watch man of steel Then Batman v Superman ultimate cut. (Has to be ultimate cut) Then suicide squad 2016 & then Wonder Woman 2017. By the sounds of it u watched 2017 Justice league (josstice league). That was an absolute abomination of a film. While filming justice league in they completed 95% of the footage & went into full post production in October 2016, then 6 months into post production the director Zack Snyder & producer Debbie snyder’s daughter committed suicide. They stepped away & the studio used this as an opportunity to come in and change 90% of the film so they did a bunch of reshoots & released the film & it was crap! Since Zack filmed 95% of his film a campaign started #releasethesnydercut & in May 20, 2020 they announced they were releasing it all 4hrs of it! With original designs. This is Zack Snyders justice league.
