worth noting 47 avoids collateral damage...not that he cares about civilians but rather he's a professional and sees it unprofessional to hurt/kill bystanders
I’d argue he does care about civilians; many of his targets are people who are terrible to others or have caused harm to others. The player makes the choices of how to carry the missions out, but canonically his targets are the sole intended victims.
"47, your next mission is quite a difficult one. In Gotham, the most crime ridden city in the world, is the vigilante known simply as 'Batman', age unknown. He deals with organized crime through out the city that the police are ill equipped to deal with, which, as you may have guessed, is bad for our client. Intel on the target is slim, we lack information on his true identity or place of residence. However... Multiple criminals are known for their ability to consistently draw him out. The Joker, Prince of Crime and one of these criminals, has stolen multiple pay-loads of military-grade explosives and we expect him to try something, causing Batman to reveal himself. Good luck, Agent 47."
47 does care about people to an extent. He cared about an old priest friend of his. The priest allowed him to stay in the church & 47 became the church’s caretaker & gardener. When the priest was kidnapped in his own church 47 went on a revenge mission. That shows he cares
The priest didn't get killed but rather was kidnapped so as to coerce 47 back into being a hitman. He then eventually confronts the kidnappers back at the church, kills them, and saves his friend. Although he doesn't return back to that peaceful life he tried to lead and becomes a hitman again purely so that his presence doesn't endanger another person close to him. He apparently donates some of the money he gets from contracts to that same church.
This does neglect one thing: Diana Burnwood, Agent 47's handler and contact in the ICA. Fighting 47 would mean having to contend with Diana and possibly all the resources that the ICA might spare. Especially if someone hires the ICA to take out the Batman, or Bruce Wayne, and if 47 takes on the contract.
Also, 47 has been shown to be extremely intelligent. Even working from the limited intel available, he could probably make some guesses about Batman's potential age range (teenager or young adult at his first appearance, plus however many decades he has stayed active since then), his wealth (it takes millions, if not billions, to fund that kind of arsenal, and it can't be a standalone inheritance if he has been continuously active for decades), and his no-killing rule. Search the city's public records for anyone with the required amount of wealth, remove any criminals who have repeatedly fought Batman or have been serving jail sentences while Batman was actively catching other criminals, and do some basic recon on anyone else. Once he's certain of his target, he can infiltrate the mansion, locate any secret entrances by using his gadgets/sensors, and keep going deeper until he's finally able to have a "friendly chat" with Batman: no need for a complicated contingency plan, just drop the investigation into me, and I'll show some professional courtesy by staying out of Gotham. After all, 47's targets always have blood on their hands, some much more than others, and 47 is no stranger to slowly dismantling massive shadowy organizations. If Batman agrees to the truce, both sides can help the other out in their investigations by sharing intel from time to time. If Batman refuses, "accidents" might happen around the "Bat Family"...
"I'll always be one step ahead of 47. Prepare dinner, Alfred." - "Thank you." - "What a strange taste, it's... Alfred, where did you buy these beans? Alfred, Alfred? I'm vomiting! No, not today." 🥴😵💫
Somehow, I don't think it would be that easy. Pretty sure Batman would be able to tell that 47 isn't Alfred, considering Alfred has been the Wayne Family Butler for Bruce's entire life and is the man who raised him for part of those years. It would be much more simple to attend one of the events Bruce Wayne has to attend as a cook...
@@thegamingbluefiredragon428 yeah a lot of people tend to forget just how good alfred is himself, and unlike batman, he does not have a no killing rule. meaning there is a pretty decent chance of 47 catching lead from Alfred's shotgun. And on top of that, alfred is clever enough to hide all his weapons to the point of bruce cant find them, in his own home.
I'd like to that if 47 was in Gotham or had a contract in Gotham, possibly to hit Bruce Wayne, I'd like to think that he is completely prepared for Batman and more probably has already prepared for Batman to be after him or be aware of him in Gotham and would have plans of his own before he even steps foot in Gotham. taking on 47 is like taking on John Wick, it is more than a man, it is a force of nature and sheer fucking will
In the time it took Batman to put together this contingency, 47 already slipped into Wayne Enterprises, disguised as a delivery boy, knocked out a cubicle drone in the bathroom and took his clothes, discretely stepped into the security office to borrow a guard’s clearance, obtained access to the top office, plugged a flash drive into the computer to allow his support staff to hack Batman’s surveillance system…and slipped a dose of emetic poison into Bruce Wayne’s cup of coffee, while he wasn’t looking, before calmly leaving the premises while Bruce was preoccupied with worshiping the porcelain throne.
The one issue: The poison. I'm pretty sure that the Batman knows his poisons and would know what to look out for when it comes to a tampered drink. In fact, that whole setup could work for a confrontation between the Batman and Agent 47. Maybe Bruce fakes drinking from the cup, wanders off to a bathroom as though he has gotten sick, and waits for 47 there before a fight breaks out between them? Something like that? I do know both parties are incredibly clever in how they operate and are difficult to catch by surprise (unless the story demands it).
Follow up... Bruce is assessing the situation in the Bat Cave; when Alfred arrives with tea and pleasant conversation... Only one little verbal flaw... strikes him seconds before drinking the tea! It's not Alfred!...
47: Nice try, Batman, aka Bruce Wayne. You know that ICA agents are even having the data from everyone computer codes. I took out 11 ICA agents trying to kill me, but I can kill them right back. So I know all your movements and kill you and the same with your enemies as well. So you're moved Batman, aka Bruce Wayne.
@@barrettfenwick8028 or there is just as much of a chance of Alfred dragging in 47's shotgun riddled corpse. Alfred is no pushover himself, and unlike Bruce, he has no problems with killing. Hell in one comic Alfred even threw hands with superman.
@@ryuukeisscifiproductions1818that was after Alfred got a dose of super drugs. Plus, 47 has killed highly skilled special forces operatives before, so it’s not like Alfred is anything new to him. I still believe Batman would win, especially if he knew who 47 was and that he was coming for him, (an advantage the majority of 47’s victims didn’t have) but I think the idea that Alfred easily beats 47 is kind of far fetched.
@@rpgveteran1252 In the later movies, Neo gained the same superpowers outside of the Matrix for no real reason. It was stupid, but canon, unfortunately.
The thing is that each of those would be very fitting for a Frank Horrigan contingency but i can't choose on which one is better for it cuz they're pretty good It could be any of each I don't have a problem
I grew up watching the old series with Richard Dean Anderson. Whenever I heard him talk I felt like my dad was talking to me. Both men spoke in the same manner.
Great suggestion. But it would help if the villain doesn't arrogantly take so long in killing him and ignores what Bond tries to tell him. That would help.
@@josecuestas7246---It would've certainly helped Goldfinger in the movie "Goldfinger" but then we would have no James Bond and no fun movie afterwards. Also no awesome introduction from a particularly memorable Bond Girl too.
Also worth noting Agent 47 will in his own way even look after/rescue those who've been abused/mistreated by his Target/Targets though you're not exactly big on his way of doing it!
@stevenchoza6391 Batman: tools DB: disarm shout Batman: hides DB: Las yah neel (life sense) Batman: hand to hand DB: Force shout Batman: pulls away DB: whirlwind sprint Batman: retreats DB: ice form Batman: caught DB: Weeps, I thought youd be a challenge.
47 would just shoot the cameras before they spot him, and even if they do, he can just disable the recording feature. Not for nothing, but cameras are the least effective means of tracking him
2 things with agent 47 Bats underestimated. 1 his pertanatural accuracy w8th firearms mean any attempt to widen the gap to breath could be dangerous. 2. His sniper rifle could kill at 4.x km. This inducates his weapons will be able to do significant damage if not penetrate his suit after systematically hitting the same area multiple times.
Batman vs Agent 47, now that would be a fight for the ages. Batman is good, but 47.... he's the best in the business. Not to mention he usually has his Handler in his ear, Diana was it?
Imagine that conversation between Batman and a contained, neutralized 47 who attempts to play upon the Caped Crusader's past and psychological weakpoints.
Imagine if he shows up in the bat cave and says “you’ve done your homework Bruce” and Batman would ask “how did you know” 47 would respond “your not the only person who does research on their targets.”
Oracle: Hey Bruce, you might want to check this file. Mission briefing: “Good afternoon 47. Your target is Bruce Wayne, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and as we recently discovered, is the masked vigilante known as Batman. He spends his nights terrorizing local crime syndicates and is an active member of The Justice League. Roman Sionis, our client, has ordered us to put an end to Bruce as revenge for his interference. The ICA has negotiated a deal with Roman that will supply us with weapons and cover aid for the next 20 years. Bruce is attending a party in the Gotham Convention Center, where he is expected to make a massive donation to the local city orphanage. As much as I dislike this assignment, the Board has decided to send the best we have. The clock is ticking 47, good luck. I will leave you to prepare.” “Bruce, you really should have considered Diana Burnwood in this contingency. I’ll have Jason on standby at the party. I’m not taking no for an answer.”
Contingency Plan Code: South Park Subject: Eric Cartman Eric Theodore Cartman, mostly called by his surname, "Cartman", is a young, pre-adolescent boy who lives with his mother, Liane, in a small town in Colorado, known as South Park. Though he is only 10 years old, Cartman has displayed numerous alarming, concerning traits that indicate him being a criminal psychopath. His actions and numerous crimes throughout the years include (but are not limited to) bullying, verbal abuse, racism, antisemitism, fraud, impersonation, manipulation, blackmail, kidnapping, thievery, and once even tricking a teenage boy to cannibalize his own parents (whose deaths Cartman helped bring about). Throughout the years, Cartman has displayed moments of devious intelligence, such as forming his own businesses, starting a rock band, operating a fried chicken smuggling operation, and even escaping from juvenile prison. On a sidenote, in addition to these intelligent feats, Cartman has also shown to be gullible at times and even downright idiotic. This makes him simultaneously unpredictable and potentially vulnerable to manipulation. Most concerning is the fact that Cartman seems incapable of aging. The earliest known records of Eric Cartman date back to August 13, 1997. He was reported to be 10 years old back then, and yet has maintained his same physical state throughout 27 years. This suggests that Cartman may possess a genetic trait or anomaly that causes acute dwarfism. Or perhaps the metaphysical laws of South Park simply make him incapable of growing past the age of ten. However, even though his overweight body shows little to no change, his mind has grown over the years and his creativity, cunning, and cruelty are far beyond those normally seen from a young boy. To form a contingency plan for Eric Cartman, we must proceed carefully, as evidence suggests he may be on the same threat level as the Joker. Records indicate that those who threaten or pose a danger to Cartman are met with horrible consequences, from jailtime, to insanity, and even death. Our areas of focus will include his mother, Liane, Cartman's obesity, and, most importantly, his overinflated hubris and foolish behavior.
Contingency Plan Code: Dictionary Subject: Word Girl He would also have to plan for the narrator. Cause the narrator can warn and speak with the characters
Contingency Plan Code: Very Angry Indeed Subject: Marvin the Martian Some Info that is great to use: His achievement of destroying earth in another universe and able to shoot Martian Manhunter
Alfred: Master wayne, i have terrible news, Miss Kyle was found dead in her apartment, having been drowened in the bathroom, Master Todd was shot while riding his motorcycle at 100 MPH, Miss Gordon died in a freak accident, Commissioner Gordon fell of the roof of the police department, and Master Grayson died to eating poisoned food also a mister aurthur Edwards is asking for you.
Contigency Plan: Paddy's Pub Subject: The Gang It's a bit out there, but I figured due to their ability to ruin the lives of anyone who interacts with them, it might tick Batman off. Plus Frank is like a way more depraved verison of the Pengiun and Charlie definely has a bit of Ratcatcher in him.
