I also think Kratos would understand Batman's contingencies against himself, as Kratos as of after Valhalla wouldn't want to become what he was during the Greek Games. Kinda like how Superman entrusted Batman with Kryptonite in case he himself goes rouge. Kratos would entrust Batman and Mimir to find ways to incompacitate him just in case.
@@godknightomegaif you can keep Atreus out of your mouthunless you say "Atreus is in danger we can work together to stop who is puting him in danger" wich would actually be a good way to get him as an ally.
The point of the Batman contingency plans is precisely because the Justice League is full of people who would make "strong allies", but the League needs to know ways of fighting against them in scenarios where they are compromised, controlled, or manipulated to fight against the League. Villains require takedown strategies, while heroes and allies require SECRET takedown strategies. If Kratos is told of Batman's contingency plans and chooses to go along with it like Superman, that's all well and good, but if the mere knowledge of the contingencies makes Kratos less likely to work alongside the Justice League or if it even turns him into an outright enemy of the League, then the League would have been better off with Batman's contingencies staying as Batman's paranoid secret.
@@nadrewod999 Kratos just wants to be left alone to raise his boy properly. The problem is that he is like a trouble magnet. All of the problems come to him rather than him seeking them out. I do believe Kratos would take action if he found out people were planning to deal with him but only because of the amount of people that have conspired against him already. Seriously just leave the man alone and the world will go on as if he didn't exist.
i'm pretty sure kratos won't be scared easily , the only thing that can scare him is losing his son , or becoming the tyrant god he was again . would the fear toxin even work on him ?
@@أهلا-ه9ر as of base version very unlikely, a magically enhance could work. And he would fear loosing control and doing the same he did when he became 'The ghost' again. That would be his *GREATEST* fear. Thing is it eill be like when batman got hit with a more potent fear toxin that made him relieve Jason's murder and he was not incapacitated or broken. He went apeshit on Scarecrow and Joker. Kratos would most likely go the same nad you would regret every second of it.
@@anthonyramirez9925 Exactly I mean the kid is still a God a young God but a God none the less. He has his own abilities that easily put him above most of the Robins starting out
@@65firered I’m just picturing Kratos showing up to random justice league members asking for Batman, and Wonder Woman just being terrified of the man who put down her pantheon
I don’t think Batman would consider this, considering his relationships with Dick and Damien. Taking an innocent young boy hostage seems really out of character for Batman.
Some problems with this plan is that the Norse games specifically emphasize that Kratos was trying to overcome his rage and bloodlust. He wanted to give up his life of violence, but was forcefully dragged into it because of the Aesir's bull crap. Also, he has demonstrated the ability to resist, and even conquer attempts at psychological attacks before, multiple times throughout the franchise.
@@BlastingXNPNot really, it says that he's going to use scarecrow's toxin to create illusions of his past enemies. So for me it sounds like plan to make Kratos angry.
I like how Batman's contingencies for Kratos are so tentative. He has NO CLUE how to stop Kratos, and he's just brainstorming whatever wacky notion pops into his head.
These contingency plans are going to get Batman killed, as well as a lot of civilians in Kratos' blast radius. His real contingency plan should be calling in a favor from Wonder Woman, because she can both fight *and* reason with him on levels that Kratos can respect.
As long as the gods of Olympus don't do anything stupid while Diana talks to him or Atreus isn't in any sort of danger. Diana can convince him to withdraw from fighting. It's not guaranteed but if Diana is successful the casualties will be reduced to a minimum or maybe non existent
@@ashyflame It occurs to me if she is successful it would be very wholesome way of making peace with his past by working with Diana, as she sort of family. And maybe help the JL out when once in awhile. But ya, for good measure Olympians should give him space. Although... might be funny to see him beat DC Aries within an inch of life; just humble him not kill him. It would reflect his growth.
682 is already "contained" by the Foundation so Batman doesn't really need to make a contingency for the lizard, especially when the Foundation has their own contingency. I'd say scp 2800-"Cactus Man" or maybe even Pattern Screamers would be more of a fitting choice, but that's just me.
@@furyberserk That's a bad understanding of the SCP Foundation. Because if Batman was considered good enough by them, he wouldn't be fighting weirdly themed villains and instead would have been hired by the Foundation years ago.
@@fallen_angelmemesforlife9172 He has contingencies for Flash, Wonder woman, Superman and even Darkseid. He is beyond good enough the amount of times I hear employees dying.
A lot of this contingency plan would be HIGHLY ill advised. Manipulating Kratos tend to make the situation worse, as the instant he finds out about the manipulation, he goes after the source. Physically Kratos is on par with any of the heavy hitters of DC, maybe not as fast as the Flash, or as strong as Superman, but close enough that it would be bad, and given Kratos's regenerative abilities ... you don't want him coming after you. I think the best course of action would be redirection rather than manipulation.
Or just calm him down by using the logic on him that he needs to be a better role model for his son, or else his son would kill just like him and he doesn't want that on his hands
Batman's plan is to have an alliance of powerful begins, take Kratos' weapons, and piss him off. Young Kratos: "So a typical Tuesday then, do you know how many times my enemies have tried this exact plan?!" Old Kratos: "Meh stop this now and go away, I have no interest in this or you.
People have to stop thinking Kratos’s emotions are a detriment to him. They’re fucking not, he was being emotionally manipulated the entire Greek saga by everyone and it never threw him off his game. His anger staying in check these days is to save OTHERS from getting killed unnecessarily, not himself. If this is your line of attack, Batman is losing. Hell he only lost to Thor in Ragnarok BECAUSE he was holding back the moment Thor got in his head and triggered him he became far more dangerous
No Batman, using psychological warfare against Kratos with images of former enemies or family is a sure fire way to face Kratos at full power holding nothing back. The way to defeat Kratos is to get him to not want to fight anymore. You are not going to tank or outfight him. You are only going to be able to convince him to not get involved in something you want him to stay away from. All Kratos wants is to be left alone to live his life in peace.
Nope. Batman's Plan for Kratos first and formost has to be NEGOTIATION. Truth be told, just talking to him can stop him by helping him realize he's crossing the line he fears crossing. Battle won't work because he will not stop no matter what is thrown at him including his own death.
Its my understanding from playing all the games that if Kratos feels the slightest bit of fear, it causes him to Spartan-up and become way-hay-hay more dangerous and lethal!
Zeus tried to infect fear in his mind, it did work, for a moment, until kratos powered through and killed zeus. That would happen to batman, its gonna be gory
1. Fear toxin won't work, he's been induced in illusions before and the same trick doesn't work twice. 2. Kratos might succumb to danger at first, but he's highly adaptable, so even Batman needs to stay on his toes, creativity wise. 3. Getting help from Wonder Woman and equipping magical artifacts would be a good idea though, and all depends on the writer whether it's a sure fire victory or not.
If you manage to contain or defeat, Kratos retrieving his weapons, we may prove useful in the coming battle of Darkside, with scientific modifications, the artifacts from the gods, we may prove fruitful for some of the members of the justice league to use them. not just the ax or the blades but the blade itself the blade of Olympus well all else fails. And the shield and the golden fleece makes excellent shield technology. And the key to the connection to the Bifrost will also might prove useful.
I'd love to see characters like Jotaro Kujo from Jojo's, Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul or Talion from Shadow of Mordor/War. Dante or Vergil, a Darth Vader one would be cool aswell.
Tell me you don’t understand Kratos without saying you don’t understand Kratos. A.) Pissing him off is just going to make it worse. Just ask Heimdall, Magni, Thor, and any of the Greek gods. B.) He has control of his rage, has mastered his fears, and has forgiven himself of his past. That was the entire lesson of GoW 2018 and Ragnarok. C.) You’re going to turn his weapons against him by reversing the control with a magnet? Dawg, are you serious?

I think Batman may be out of luck here. If Death itself and the Sisters of Fate couldn't subdue Kratos, let alone an entire pantheon of Gods, what chance does Batman have?
I can't help but feel like the fear toxin would be counterintuitive. Like the dude probably still suffers from the nightmares of his past to a degree (Reminder, the gods kinda fucked him there. He did their bidding, only for them to not hold up their end of the bargain), how do you think showing them to him while he's awake would go? Also, I'm pretty sure having the Greek Gods help Batman would probably anger Kratos even more. Kinda like how Injustice Superman probably felt seeing Batman getting all buddy buddy with Harley Quinn, one of the two people responsible for the destruction of Metropolis and the death of his wife and unborn child (while simultaneously berating Superman for killing one man: The Joker).
A fear toxin isn't going to work on Kratos. A magnet used to redirect his weapons to attack him will not work on him. Wonder Woman is a challenge... but he killed their brother so...
Older kratos knows the difference between illusions dude... if you're going to make a video about a character at least do a little bit of research first
A wiser way to deal with Kratos is to not provoke him. In the Greek Saga, there were moments in which Kratos tried to be on his own business but those who challenged him or stood in his path end up being on the recieving end of his wrath (ex. Theseus, Perseus, even Icarus at his most deranged, any of the characters in God of War 3 that WILLINGLY took part with Zeus in the 2nd Titanomachy). In the Norse saga, undeniably threatening Atreus or any of the people whom Kratos bonded with is asking for the Spartan to relapse into the Bane of Olympus.
Best contingency plan for Kratos? Don't fight him. Send him on a campaign against a new pantheon and stand tf back while he leaves you and yours alone 😂😂😂
Batman would have greater chance if batman found some way to kill kratos before he even realize it. Using fear toxin on him would be a terrible idea. That would only motivate him even more to comeback to life and reverse time for revenge.
@@DocWolphlast thing they need is a pissed off Kratos. The moment he sees Diana, he’ll go “ZOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!” Also Superman is weak to magic, nothing is invulnerable to Kratos.
@@marcopineda9507 Kratos does not know everyone Zeus sired. Even though after "The New 52", Wonder Oman is basically DC's "Hercules with tits". And Kratos is capable of letting other Greek Gods and demigods at least say something, "just make it good". Finally we are talking "Old Man Kratos", older, wiser, knows, better, will give you a chance to NOT be fodder.
Young Kratos after the fear toxin fades, manages to break all his weapons turned against him, and defeat any allies Batman acquired: BRUUUUUUUUUCE. All your miserable plans failed. I remain standing. And now, you die! *(O)* Old Kratos: hmm... no more. Leave me alone.
Have fun with taking him down two pantheons have failed so far. Both attempted psychological and magical manipulation Correct answer is just leave him alone Failing leaving him alone be direct and honest with him
I knew Wonder Woman had to be mentioned it was almost required for this 1 and i was interested what youd say about her personally I think batman would use her to instill rage in Kratos as he would want to kill her
Bruh, norse Kratos is easy to control, he would probably give himself in the moment he notices rage is overcoming him. GOW 3 Kratos at the peak of his strenght and powers is a whole different beast, rage incarnate, slaying everything in his path. I want to see Batman against him, i dont think he could control him
Ok Batman your plan is flawed to here are two more options to get kratos away. 1 have cyborg open a boom tube to apokalypse have kratos enter claiming darkseid has whatever he is after then when the angry god slayer goes through have cyborg close the boom tube. There now apoplectic rage monster and in a few hours darkseid won’t be a problem anymore. Second have either dr fate or Constantine open a portal to hell and tell kratos to have fun. Hell will definitely be empty with in a few hours. There better plans then what you cooked up and easier too
