Except in-lore there HAS been instances where Optimus turned evil. (and not just in the movies). Also there's the possibility of evil clones (which also has happened before) or alternate dimension evil versions (also happened before) Having said that, the same method that turned Optimus evil probably could also be used as a countermeasure.

​@demonzone2571 loads of people do. He's iconic for a lot of reasons, and say what you will about his violence, he and his movie helped bring the franchise back into the public eye. Be grateful he did that, even if you dislike the Bay films which I do understand.

Technically yes, at least the EMP‘s humanity currently produces would be a little more than static in the processor. There are devices called EMP admitters, which are used as a medical tool to knock out transformers for medical procedures, and in a pinch can be used as a weapon, but the amount of energy that would need to be used for a human-based version would also pretty much destroy any human based technology around it.

Makes sense. Cybertronian don't run on any form of electrical energy but on Energon which is basically a source of clean energy and it's the life blood of all mechanical life on CYBERTRON. Then we got the SPARK which is their main power source as well as apparently their CPU. It's one of the complex pieces of machinery in a cybertronian body as well as something called a T-Cog which gives them ability to transform. A cybertronian is basically what Tony Stark himself could ever dream of making. And best of all, they're made out of an organic like metal that heals at the same rate human flesh does when it gets injured. Hardly any traditional means of weaponry can kill a cybertronian. Especially if that cybertronian is a skilled fighter like Prime or Sentinel or even MEGATRON.

Yeah, that'd require some internal shielding to their circuts, otherwise that method would turn them off and/or fry their energy grids.

@@nitroplays7024 EMPs shut down all electrical functions, and these things rely on electricity: so there's no possibility of it being a heavenly being at all.

@@Cryptvixity Superman. Megatron is far more ruthless and therefore fare more dangerous to take on than OP. Bruce would need to call out all the stops.

That’s how Megatron became so dangerous in Transformers Prime.

To be honest, the technologies to do everything he said, and then some, do already exist in franchise lore and weren't things that were so rare or such that they couldn't be replicated. However, an energon harvester is probably too potentially lethal for Batman's liking, and the mechanism BW Megatron used on Rampage's spark to keep him in check would likely require a surgery on Optimus that I'm not sure Batman would get the opportunity to do.

@@SynfangSpark extractors were also developed en masse by Megatron in Beast Machines, though you'd have to hold Prime still for it to work... Then TFP had one that can target *multiple* Sparks instantly in a large radius. Decepticon scientists really have no ethical boundaries at all.

Sideswipe is probably the fastest Autobot to appear in the films, Blur in the animated series. Smartest would have to either be Ratchet or Wheeljack. Strongest is hands down GRIMLOCK. But this is all open for discussion.

TBH there are even Decepticons that outclass him, like SixShot, Overlord, or hell, any of the Combiners. And there are Autobots that do act like straight up Upgrades of him, like Star Saber.

Maybe Optimus and Batman can plan contingency plans for any Autobot that goes rogue

Unicron however does have the ability to feed off of abstract negativity in contrast to Primus who can only use the collective lifeforce of the Transformer race as power.

Besides that, it's pretty much lethal to any being. Only one that even bonded with it was Megatron. This isn't Kryptonite, it's the blood of a God of Absolute Evil
