If you ever do Professor Xavier himself, you should mention that he actually has created a contingency plan for himself. And others actually, Wolverine included. (Though his contingency against Wolverine, and others, is of the lethal variety.) No way Batman would not want to consider Xavier's own countermeasures.
People think Xavier is MLK. He is NOT. He abuses so much of manipulation and care of his fellow mutants, Magneto tragically who literally was born in the wake of WW2! I see Xavier as the unsung hero during those Right Riot, Babby Varrin(sorry if it's not accurate, too lazy to look up) who Re-DISCOVERED the concept and practice of race wars! But that's more of a villains agenda? Xavier is Bob's evil half-brother.
I think Wolverine would respect Batman enough that he views the contingency plan as necessary and would honour Batman's no killing rule when working together.
Two things. First, LOVE that you ended this video with Batman somewhat sympathizing with Wolverine's many struggles in life. Second, I notice you did not mention Wolverine's ability to enter a Berserker Rage as part of this contingency plan, because that ability is actually directly tied to his healing factor (if I'm remembering and/or understanding it correctly). If he takes too much damage all at once or over a continuous period of time, his healing factor will go into overdrive and make him temporarily invulnerable, but as a side effect, he goes completely berserk and can't tell friend from foe. If I've made any mistakes in my understanding of his Berserker Rage ability, please anyone feel free to correct me.
there's also in another version of this i've seen batman notes the adamantium is slowly poisoning wolverine and his healing factor can't do much to save him such as is the case in Logan as he's getting older and weaker. and his plan was to OD him on adamantium
@@redrasegarden oh. Wolverine would down the drink but he'll still punch Bruce Wayne as a thank for the drink/you pissed me off with your bullshit contingency plans kind of way. 😂👍
That would be an interesting video, especially after watching that excellent take on Dr. Doom in the graphic novel that was adapted into a motion comic by The Russian Comic Book Geek right here on RU-vid.
@@nmbr1son64yeah batman knows sealing magic and excorsism he can seal magic for a time and summon demons and trsp demon's this basically all the magic he knows but it's really hard stuff but not flashy
Wolverine would make an excellent ally to the justice league and keep away from Lex Luthor to learn the secret of adamantine to use for a super suit, so superman can’t break it. Also Amanda Waller should not know about the weapon X program or striker or she would use this to Weaponized task force X with mutant experimentation. Also, next contingency plan should be about Jean Gray, a.k.a. Phoenix, or apocalypse the first mutant.
If Wolverine existed in their universe you can bet Manda would be involved with the weapon X program or aware of its existence, while Lutor would be looking to get a hold of the metal from Wakanda the only character I can think of that would be interested in Logan would be Raza Gul, but not for the bones but his healing factor to be able to live for centuries would enable him to take control of the world from behind the scenes!!
Man Raza Gul with wolverine healing factor and Lazarus pits would be insane... who would you beat someone like that hides in the shadows... he could wait till he's forgotten and strike
Wolverine and Batman would make the best sparring partners. Batman/Bruce COULD "kill" Logan/Wolverine knowing he didn't break the killing rule technically. Logan gets trained by Batman, so Logan kicks more ass and Wolverine berserker is Batman who kills game over. And Bruce gets to workout his parents murder by murdering Logan every training session😅😅😅
@@DHworldwide185 I get that. But he has survived being burned to nothing but his adamantium skeleton. So cruising his organs is meaningless. There's nothing Batman could come up with, borrow or think of that could crush Logan more than the Hulk. He might have walked away from every Hulk smash but he did survive nonetheless.
Nice choice in choosing Wolverine as a subject for this video. I often find him to be an exceedingly interesting character. And on some level a person I can identify with. I'm a bit of a loner myself.
Correction Logan's bones are completely breakable and they aren't any more durable than a normal human's. It's just the adamantium they are clad in "holds things together" while his healing factor fixes things.
Although, Wolverine's claws are part of his skeleton. He has lost the Adamantium before, and his "normal" bones grew back...including bone claws. So, magnetic fields would only slow hom down until he rips his bones out & lets them regrow, one-by-one, until he can escape with a berserker rage using his nearly indestructible bone claws to murder every guard withon leaping distance. This contingency plan would only slow down Wolverine; It would not actually stop him.
Not that it matters or changes anything to the contigency plan but Wolverine also fought in the American Civil War Also i think Batman and Wolverine would unironically be good friends lol
Most of Batman’s plans revolve around defeating the enemy. Here while Batman does come up with a method of defeating Wolverine, he also acknowledges that Logan would also appreciate a friendship with Batman. A team up of Batman and Wolverine would be awesome!
Because of his healing factor counteracting toxins, getting Wolverine drunk would be a really fucking expensive prospect. Good thing he'd settle for a simple case of beer 😂
Instead of an electro magnetic cage, just make a cage/cell out of adamantium, Bruce has the finances to do so. Much simpler and doesn't have the possibility of an equipment failure, this has proven successful as Wolverine and Deadpool were kept contained in an Adamantium cell, just make sure it has fencing around it also so Logan cannot reach or extend his claws through any bars.
Your Batman vids are awesome! Could you please do a Batman Contingency Plan for Underdog? No one has ever done a Contingency Plan for Underdog, but Underdog & Batman are my favorite superheroes! Also, if you do Underdog, please do that great original 1960's - 1970's cartoon as a reference, & the comics, but not that terrible live-action film 😲 And I hope you can do an Underdog vid in the near-future 🙂
Bruce needs one more Contingency plan for James Howlett aka Logan aka Patch Aka Wolverine aka unknown other aliases. The Contingency for "Dark Claw" the Batman/Wolverine Amalgam Logan Wayne.
In multiple semi-canon comics like Marvel vs DC and JLA/Avengers, interactions between Batman and Wolverine did indeed occur not too differently than how it is suggested it would here.
Metal is everywhere, the earth is made of lead. And means Magneto also has control over gravity and electrical fields as magnetism and electricity are similar.
Mixed feelings on that one. I don’t think the sleeping agents could reliably overcome his healing factor long enough to contain him. Alternate methods might involve using his enhanced senses against him by deploying Sonic devices to overwhelm his hearing or potent chemicals that provoke severe reactions to his sense of smell or taste that might subdue him or effectively blind or otherwise deprive him of one of his five senses. It might be possible to cause something akin to a super allergic reaction that causes him to lose consciousness if a substance can be found to inspire such a heightened response in the healing factor it effectively turns against itself and has a detrimental impact on Logan’s body. The biggest risk in using the sleep agents or this alternative method of attack is that when pushed too far Wolverine can enter a beserker mode that makes him much more violent and animalistic. There’s potential in taking advantage of that state, though, employing a basic trap that Wolverine would normally not fall into but his unthinking berserker mode might leap into without a second thought.
His bones are covered with Adamanitum but what about his cartilage that connects the bones to each other? If not, Does that mean you can still cut off his arms and legs with a sword or axe? And if you could, would he grow back his limbs but without Adamantium bones?
they did a real stimulation between Batman and Wolverine. Bat's used a magnetic gas that Wolverine breathe in and connected to his adamantium skeleton that left him paralyzed. The healing keeps him alive, but the magnetic shards leaves him unable to walk.
As a kid, I loved Hulk because I thought he was the goat! Bronze over Brains. As an adult, I realized it's actually Brains over Bronze. It doesn't matter how strong you are, if I'm smarter I'm winning. I don't need super strength when I can beat you with a magnet. I don't need spider powers when I can beat you with nerve gas. I don't need super speed when I can lead you into a snare trap. BATMAN IS THE GOAT! 🦇
Wow that was cool! Batman and Logan are similar in terms of trauma molding... making him an ally is genius because he is loyal and brave for his friends... 😁 Bad temperament and easily distracted however 🤔
I'd use weapons based on Carbonadium, a metal almost as strong as Adamantium and much lighter, with the added bonus that it counteracts healing factors. Another alternative would be Antarctic Vibranium, which can melt any metal, even Adamantium
